When sorrow and difficulties strike hard, hope becomes the lone star in the dark sky. This is the story of Amira, a 23-year-old girl who found herself bearing the burden of her family after her father's death three years ago due to the coronavirus.

After my father's passing, I found myself taking care of my family, consisting of my mother, sister Noor, and brother Abdulrahman. My mother, suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, faces health problems that further complicate their situation. But courage and determination drive Amira forward.
I worked as a teaching assistant at the university while pursuing a master's degree in data science, and also worked as a programmer in a company. My life was going smoothly until war came and destroyed everything.

My university, workplace, and home were completely destroyed, forcing them to flee south in search of a safe haven. Now, I and my family live in tents for displaced people in Deir al-Balah, where they suffer from water shortages and the spread of diseases, posing an additional challenge, especially for my immunocompromised mother.
This is a brief about our daily suffering.

Please help me, my mother, my sister and my brother to go out to treat my mother because she suffers from widespread diseases because her immunity is weak and help us to complete our educational journey, me and my brother

My friend Ahmed, a 15-year-old boy from Gaza, lives a terrifying and painful life. Their home was destroyed, and he and his family miraculously survived. Now they live in a tattered tent that offers no protection from the cold of the night or the heat of the sun. They find nothing to satisfy their hunger except scraps of unhealthy food, and the suffering of hunger never leaves them.
The bombing in their area is relentless, and every day brings new horrors: no safety, no food, no normal life for a child who was supposed to live his life studying and playing.

I know…
A tent. Dirty clothes. Dusty faces. That’s what gets attention.
It’s easier to feel moved by visible pain.
But here’s the hard part:
What breaks my heart isn’t just hunger or war —
It’s knowing my children are losing another school year. That their future is slipping away.
So I chose the harder path.
I pay triple the price to rent an apartment — not because I can afford it, but because I want my kids to study, sleep safely, and stay clean.
I chose not to exploit their pain to get sympathy.
But it seems… dignity costs visibility.
I’m not yelling. I’m speaking — quietly, respectfully.
But honestly, it feels like I’m talking to walls.
Do I need to let my kids suffer publicly just to be noticed?
Is there anyone willing to hear us without needing tears or trauma to believe our worth?
I need a real platform. A real voice. Just one person to follow, to share, to care.
Not pity — solidarity. Not clicks — commitment to a just cause.

On my way back to where I live, passing by a school housing displaced people from Gaza, when they heard the news of the ceasefire in Gaza, they started screaming with joy despite the suffering.
People are simple in Gaza.. waiting for what makes them happy and joyful 💔✌️🥹🇵🇸

A lot of pop psychology gets thrown around and since I already have a headache, here's preventing you lot from making it worse.
Love-bombing: A manipulation tactic of increasing affection and grand gestures before or after doing something abusive, specifically to weasel one's way out of consequences.
What it is not: A streak of affection and generosity towards friends/loved ones.
Trauma-bonding: Knowingly traumatizing someone to take advantage of their vulnerable state, to then act like the "hero" or the one who cheers them up.
What it is not: Bonding over similar traumas.
Gaslighting: *Knowingly* convincing someone they cannot trust their own perception of a situation in pursuit of one's own narrative.
What it is not: Misaligned perception of events.
Narcissist: Someone afflicted with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, a traumagenic cluster B disorder, that struggles with self-obsession, paranoia, craving validity from the public, delusions of grandeur, and social disconnection.
It is not: Your rubbish ex that cheated on you.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

Hi folks! I've been chatting with a Palestinian, Sami, and their family desperately needs help right now. Any donation, no matter how small, really helps!
My four-month-old daughter, Judy, was born into this "cruel war that has been killing innocent people for two years and is still ongoing." Since her birth, she has only felt fear and hunger, deprived of her most basic rights. She needs food and safety. Therefore, I appeal to you from the bottom of my heart to support her and extend a helping hand to save her. Your donation today could make a difference in saving her from certain death. Donate here. I know the world is full of stories, but Judy and all the children of Gaza are a sad, never-ending story.

New displacement, new evacuation, starvation, living under fire
We miraculously survived today.
I appeal to you with all humanity to stand by us in these harsh circumstances. The occupation issued a circular ordering the evacuation of our town (Gaza - Khan Younis)😭, threatening to kill anyone who remains. I have no means to flee. My husband is injured in his stomach and leg and cannot move. I have a newborn and a baby girl who cannot run or endure. I need urgent help to secure a means of transportation to take us to a safe place. I do not have the money or the capabilities. I ask everyone who can, to donate even a small amount to save our٨ lives. This is a call for life. Help us before we lose everything🙏.

Don't leave my family to die, I just want your donation to cover the cost of transportation to a safer place, don't leave us alone here, I am begging you one by one, don't leave my little children to face death, be their safety and peace, please😭🫂🙏
Please donate via the link...

Hello, I am sending you my message. I feel ashamed because we are in a very difficult situation. My family and I have lost a lot. I have lost many friends. I have lost my home. I have lost my life. I have lost all aspects of life. I do not know until when. I am really tired. I want to search for light with your help. I hope that my story will be published and that you will love me. I deserve more than that. My life has been destitute for 17 months. We have been exposed to all forms of suffering. Our souls are being crushed. We are searching for light to hold on to life. I hope that you will publish it and that you will fight for me. Do not read my message as if it is just a message of words that you hear from everyone. I do not feel me. Do not ignore me. I know that you can save my life and the life of an entire family. I hope that you will love to donate, even if it is a little. I send my greetings to you from the heart of the Gaza Strip my blog has been deleted again. This is something that makes me feel frustrated, so I want stronger support than before so that my account is not deleted. I hope my message and my story reach you ✅️Vetted by @gazavetters, my number verified on the list is ( #589 )✅️

📸 This is not just a newspaper cover. This is our reality in Gaza.
This powerful image was published by The Independent on May 11, 2025. It shows the faces of hungry and terrified Palestinian children — the result of a brutal blockade and forced starvation.
The headline reads: "For all their sakes, end the deafening silence on Gaza now." But the silence continues ........
💔 I am a father of three children. We live every day under the shadow of hunger and fear. There is no food, no clean water, no safe place — only the constant struggle to keep my children alive.
The siege has taken away our jobs, our homes, our futures. I am doing everything I can to find food for my kids, to give them something — anything — to eat.
Please, if you are reading this: don’t be silent. 🎯 Your donation could mean a meal for my children. 🛑 Your support could save their lives.
🙏 Even $5 can make a difference. 📢 Share this message if you can’t donate.
Please Donate now:👇👇 👇
🤝 But don’t look away. We need you now more than ever.

Urgent Appeal
My daughter Lama is only 4 years old, yet she is carrying a pain no child should ever bear.

She was severely injured in her hand and desperately needs immediate medical treatment to save her.
My daughters—and so many children like them—are in grave danger because of the relentless war around us.
In , bombs fall without mercy, hunger gnaws at our bones, and safety feels like a distant dream.
There is no medicine, no functioning hospitals—only the crushing silence of a world that looks away.
Please, your share could be the voice that breaks this silence.
Your donation could be the lifeline that saves a child’s life.
Help us hold on to hope.

I used to be a teacher. I miss the semester - student smiles, the joy of knowledge. Now, schools are in rubble. My work has disappeared. My purpose I feel as if he disappeared with him. I try to stay strong, to believe that I will study again one day ... but hope is heavy when your days are filled with survival, not life.
I wish you could help me with the link in the description of all $ 1, a factor on us 💔

I am Falestine, Jad Al-Haq, I am 37 years old, married, and I have a eight-month-old child named Youssef. I gave birth to him during the war during very harsh conditions that no human being can bear. I moved from the hospital immediately after giving birth to the tent in which we were staying after we were displaced to it after the Israeli bulldozers completely bulldozed my house. and my suffering did not start from here. Rather, it began since the beginning of the war, and I am still suffering. I cannot provide enough milk for my baby or diapers. Even medicines and vitamins are not available.
I ask you for your urgent help in disseminating the link to my family and communicating it to people interested and able to help us. I didn't want to do it, but the tragic situation we are living in is what pushed me to do it. I feel sad and helpless, after we had everything, we are now homeless on the streets, living in a tent next to a dilapidated public toilet and there is sewage, dirt and waste everywhere, we sleep on it! We suffer from terrible heat, insects, scorpions, the danger of death, bombs and missiles, in addition to hunger of course, the danger of pollution and terrible diseases, especially the digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems!
. My father and mother could not bear it any longer. My father had a stroke after losing his home and his place of work, and my mother suffers from chronic diseases and needs treatment.
Do you have the right to imagine that when you spend your life building for yourself and your children to live a decent life, all of this disappears in the blink of an eye, and now when you reach the age where you should rest, you are forced to start again!!? But the most important thing now is to try to survive and protect your children from all the factors of death that surround us! I ask everyone who has humanity or conscience to feel our situation and put themselves in our place. How can someone who has lived with dignity all his life accept this? We are slowly dying every day.
Your donation, no matter how small, can have a big impact. It can provide a meal for my little one, a clean bottle of water, or a moment of safety under these difficult circumstances. Every donation brings with it a ray of hope, alleviating our suffering and giving us the strength to face a new day.
I ask you to donate and support the steadfastness of the Gazan people, and share this campaign with your friends and families. Together, we can make a difference and help my family get through this ordeal.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and support.
Warm greetings,
Falestine

The redrown feast

There is a two years(2023-2025) gap between the original and this one. It's kinda crazy to look at them side by side. Not much to say maybe except the fact that Tumblr butchred the quality and resolution again- some things never changes so here are closeups :p
