IF YOU NEED TO CALL 911 BUT ARE SCARED TO BECAUSE OF SOMEONE IN THE ROOM, dial and ask for a pepperoni pizza. They will ask if you know you’re calling 911. Say yes, and continue pretending you’re making an order. They’ll ask if there’s someone in the room.

You can ask how long it will take for the pizza to get to you, and they will tell you how far away a dispatcher is.

Story time.

So i got hired by a job on 8/27/18. They told me they pay biweekly. (So I should be receiving a paycheck next week, no? No. I asked yesterday when would I be getting paid? ‘Next week, probably.’ 

So i get a text this morning stating that I will be getting paid on September 18th.

I have been literally fucking SCRAPING by on paychecks, begging family members and friends for food only to be told that I’m not going to get paid for another fucking month. Mind you, people that have started just a few days before me got paid tho…. 

So what the fuck? Honestly, I have been on the verge of tears for the past two hours searching for a job, searching for words to describe this fucking feeling.

I am exhausted. I’m tired of living paycheck to paycheck and BEGGING people for money. But I don’t know what to do anymore. We have NO food in the fridge, our clothes are piling up because we’re out of the house all day working, I don’t even have money to get to work at this point, not to mention to add on top of all of this, we’re still late on rent and our landlords have been down my fucking throat everyday I get home. Exhausted really doesn’t encompass this.. 

If you can help, please. I’m begging you, please help out. And if you can’t please reblog this.

Some trans guy tips from your dad

Don’t try that mascara/arm hair shit. I’ve been passing for more than a year with short, blond arm hair. It’s not an important secondary sex characteristic.

Board shorts (without pockets in the front) do wonders to minimize the width of your hips. Always choose board shorts over swim trunks. Choose them over cargo shorts if it’s appropriate.

Speak from your chest, never from your head.

The goal of binding should not be an entirely flat chest; you should bind for your body type.

GC2b makes the best binders out there, and their products are designed specifically for trans men/transmasculine people.

It might seem useless if you’re pre-T, but working out can be a big help for dysphoria.

Eyebrows are really important to passing pre-testosterone. Muss that shit up. Make them look unkempt.

When you ask for a haircut, make sure the edges in the back are squared, not rounded.

If you have peach fuzz, I would advise shaving it. Cis guys shed theirs when they go through puberty. Shaving can also help with facial hair dysphoria.

Don’t ever buy a binder from Amazon. They run in strange sizes (I was an XXL even though I’m a M in GC2b) and take weeks/months to come. It’s also difficult to breathe in them after a few hours.

i really don’t care if i lose followers for this, but i’m spilling my tea right here and now: i’m glad tonya harding was at the golden globes

tonya harding grew up poor in largely a single parent household, at points living in her car. her mother physically and verbally abused her from the time she was four or five. she got married as a teenager to a man who would abuse her, too, and even go so far as to try to kill her on one occasion. 

moreover, tonya was a strong figure skater - the first american woman to land a triple axel! - but she wasn’t conventionally attractive, she sewed her own costumes, and she was more athletic than graceful. despite completing equally demanding routines, she was consistently marked down in her scores based on her presentation. contrast this with nancy kerrigan - beautiful, graceful, from a supportive and loving upper-middle class family on the east coast. 

now, i’m not saying what happened with nancy was okay, because it was absolutely not (though the way she treated oksana baiul and her silver at lillehammer were of questionable character), but tonya harding has never admitted or been proven guilty of being involved in the attack on nancy. herself and her ex-husband both insistent she didn’t know anything about it, and she was never charged with that by the fbi. 

because, here’s the thing: there was never supposed to be an attack on nancy kerrigan. her ex-husband, jeff gillooly, and former bodyguard, shawn eckhardt, planned to send threatening letters to nancy to scare her before a competition, after tonya had been sent a death threat. tonya knew this, which is admittedly awful. however, eckhardt hired friends to attack nancy while she was practicing for nationals. he says that jeff was also involved in the planning of the attack, but this is also debatable.

okay, so you don’t like tonya harding - cool. fine. but you can’t deny that the way america treated her before the attack on nancy was a blatant example of classism - they didn’t like a poor redneck representing their country in figure skating. she was black-balled from figure skating, and mocked and ostracized by the rest of the country, until she became nothing more than a punchline of a joke, for something she wasn’t even convicted of. 

there were a lot worse people in that audience than tonya harding.

Friendly reminder not to make death threats/threatening posts/posts about wanting to physically harm titanic. He’s a piece of shit but everything that you say online can be used to weaken Brittany’s case and make titanic out to be the victim. I know we’re all angry at him for the inexcusable abuse he subjected her to, but it’s important that we all do whatever we can to support Brittany. He definitely needs to be called out for what he did, but not at the cost of Brittany’s credibility.
