I’ll be going to London for work in October but will be staying an extra 4 days. What do you recommend I do that is maybe off the beaten path a bit? What restaurants do you recommend? I feel like I need to have some African food and Indian food while I’m there.

When I’m there for work I’ll be staying in the threadneedles autograph not far from the Liverpool station but am open to staying in other parts of the city for the other 3 nights (I’m aware that Liverpool station offers the best transportation to the airport).

tbh i wouldn’t bother moving hotels, it’s easy enough to get around to different places staying where you are.

There’s a ton of cool places not too far from where you’re staying, some of my favs are:

Miga - a family run Korean place

A bar with shapes for named - it is/was on the top 50 bars list

Tater & Elementary - again another cool bar

Xi’an Biang Biang - a low key noodle place

Som Saa - good thai

also highly recommend just walking around the city, esp around richmond, holland park, primrose hill, and hampstead. it’s gorg
