is there a specific term for that incredibly disingenuous thing people do where when they're knowingly in the wrong instead of sincerely apologizing they just vaguely reference "getting doxxed" or an undisclosed amount of "death threats" received to shift the window of the conversation away from the actual bad thing they did and towards the (very often made up if we're being completely honest) "overreaction"
