Hi everyone! Haven’t been posting for so long since I’m very busy for quite some time due to my academics. I went to DElight Party in Hong Kong last Sunday and finally met both Hyukjae and Donghae in real life! I felt like I need to update a bit these days when I’m slightly freer despite the fact that I’m working. I’m going to post at least once before October (my term starts).

I analysed the mbti of Hyukjae before, but not for Donghae. I always feel that compared with the contrasts and contradictions of Hyukjae, Donghae is much easier to be seen through.

However, as I started to analyse Donghae systematically, I realised there are still points worth noting. When disclosing the innate character through the familiar scenes, we can realise that the person that loves everyone equally, still loves Hyukjae the most.

Donghae's mbti is ENFJ, passionate and sincere, the educator that shines for everyone like the sun.

This kind of person puts emotions as the first priority. Is good at and relies on socialising. Idealistic. Has a strong sense of cooperation and teamwork. Is sensitive to the conditions of the people surrounding him. Would build a sense of responsibility for himself.

These are all very obvious personality traits. If you understand Donghae more, it is easy to discover these traits in him. This blog entry is not meant to introduce his personality, but just roughly conclude some most flagrant qualities.

Members always say, if not because of Donghae, super junior may not be able to exist till now.

With the competitive atmosphere at that time, anyone could be kicked out of super junior at any time. They were filled with worries. Even though they were companions for each other, they also had competitive relationships with each other. At a time when everyone was highly sensitive due to unforeseen futures, Donghae always put the team as the first priority. Compared with his personal career development, he cares more about team development.

ENFJ is always the one who has the strongest sense to cooperate in a team. He would always remind himself as a part of the team. He would use all he can to ensure to the team is getting together.

Even though Donghae always gives a feeling of a 'free spirit', he is actually a person who can notice the hints given from others' eyes. He is pretty observant and can notice the change in mood of the people around him.

Even though he said he is afraid of cameras and variety shows, his EQ is definitely decent, or even at a level that can master social situations well. He understands completely what kind of people he should date with. The prerequisite of this strength is that he is a very sincere person.

Talking about ENFJ, people like this kind of person are usually due to their sincerity. They are generally very likeable, as they know how to socialise well.

Being good at socialising does not mean being tactful and mature, as probably they are only willing to put effort into dating. Socialising is a vital part of ENFJ's life. They need friends and need to date people. They like the feeling that they can rely on others.

A quality of ENFJ that can be said as a strength or weakness is their altruism.

They are full of emotions, highly empathetic, can sense the emotions of others easily, and love everyone idealistically. They are willing to lower their own sense of existence to help the overall development.

They are the natural 'vice-leaders'. Their beliefs towards the team would make them get close to leadership inadvertently, but their escape towards responsibility and ruling would also lead them to refuse the highest leadership position. This also explains why Donghae is not the leader of the group, is not the eldest of the group, but has very decent power in his words.

Above these qualities can be observed easily, so I am not going to explain them in detail. More importantly, I would like to analyse how special ENFJs are towards the people they love.

ENFJs have a tendency to have hypergamy in their romantic relationships. Their attitude towards a person is usually decided at first sight.

When facing the person they like, this type usually has a crazy crush towards that person just like idolisation. Everything is attractive to them about their crushes. Would not withstand anyone speaking a single point badly for them. Only have their crushes in their eyes.

A point to note is that the first reaction of this kind of person when meeting their real love would be feeling diffident. Due to hypergamy and almost blindly crushing on someone, it is easy for them to worry about 'is it that he doesn't like me?'

As you all know, Donghae somehow just speaks without a filter. During the period Hyukjae refused to commercialise any ships, for the question 'who is the person getting along the least with Eunhyuk', he gave a famous quote 'I wish to be the answer to all his questions.'

From his avoiding eyesight and slightly guilty expression with his head lowered, I think he really suspected that Eunhyuk was not willing to ship with him was due to that Eunhyuk did not like him.

When ENFJs found someone they like, they would gradually treat this person as the centre of the world. Obsessed but also insecure.

In the eyes of ENFJs, even if the world becomes black and white, the people they love are still coloured.

For the people they love, they always encourage and appreciate them unconditionally. If you compare how Donghae treats Hyukjae versus other members, you would find out that he almost never speaks anything bad about Hyukjae. Even for variety show puns, he also cannot speak of anything bad about Hyukjae. It is because, under his special filter, the person he loves is always immaculate.

In public situations, the only weakness he spoke of Hyukjae seriously would be 'individualistic', yet interestingly, no one would speak of this friend as selfish.

So I tend to think what Donghae minds is the individualism of Hyukjae himself. When ENFJs love a person, they would give the person everything unconditionally. Compared with what ENFJs give to their partner, if their partner does something a bit egocentric, ENFJs would treat this as not prioritising themselves enough.

As aforementioned, ENFJs are typically generous and likeable. When others don't treat them well enough, they would also comfort themselves 'never mind. They also have their own thoughts.'

However, for someone they love, ENFJs would put themselves and their partners together, treating them as a single entity. At this stage, if their partner in any circumstances just thinks of themselves, they cannot tolerate such thoughts.

When ENFJs are with someone they love, they always speak of 'we'. He would put the person he loves into every of his plan and arrangement. Everything is only meaningful when 'we' are doing it together.

How they are being nostalgic, would usually be the kind naturally linking incidents and people together, just like it is a 'we' when mentioning Hawaii. If there is a part of their memories that is special, everything about it would carry a special meaning for them.

Although the story of Donghae telling Hyukjae all his secrets with Hyukjae being apathetic was told many times, the main characters of the story are always only these two. The problem is that Donghae would tell everyone his story passionately, but he would only be angry when Hyukjae was not giving him responses.

How ENFJs centre with 'devotion', meaning that they would treat everyone sincerely, but such sincerity would not ask for returns in equal value. For them, respecting and tolerating the privacy and freedom of others is also a type of devotion.

However, if talking about someone that ENFJs love, they would be required to give back the same level of sincerity. They would be required to devote everything they have, in order for ENFJs to ensure that their partner also cares as much about themselves.

Before in Weibo, I talked about how Donghae can be someone that is very controlling if he doesn't date properly. It is also the most problematic part of ENFJ. They would instil their own thoughts into others, having a strong desire to control the thoughts of others. From serious values to trivial daily life habits, would also use his own ways to control others.

However, in this type, the controlling behaviour can also be subdivided. Some people would like to instil their own thoughts in everyone, including colleagues, and always make others feel suffocated. Donghae is definitely another scenario, only instilling in the people he is close enough with.

Members usually describe him as someone who would easily accept the opinions of others. He would follow the opinions of the majority and would sacrifice for the sake of team development. However, for Hyukjae, he would fearlessly express his own opinions.

The way how they get along right now is the fruit of the long-term adjustment between the two. Donghae definitely did not dare to raise his own opinions towards Hyukjae directly from the start. Hyukjae also would not be able to tolerate how controlling Donghae is for him. It needs a long time for mutual understanding and adjustments.

Though Donghae always sticks to other people, the extent to which he sticks to others varies. Towards other members, it is more like he loves to hang around them habitually. He habitually needs someone to be with him. However, for Hyukjae, it is more of a spiritual reliance.

When meeting something that he is not good at or cannot be completed well, Donghae would naturally find Hyukjae for help. Hence, Hyukjae becomes the spokesperson of Donghae.

Calling Hyukjae at any time to find him, finding Hyukjae even though just handling trivial incidents, these obviously childish and unreasonable requests are just ways for him to justify his importance.

Even ENFJs are passionate and generous in normal social situations, they lack the sense of security in romance. They have very rich emotions, to the extent for anyone not as emotional as themselves, would think they don't love ENFJs enough.

The way how they show their affection is that even if it is something very trivial, they want to create opportunities to be with someone they love. Even others think ENFJs are brave and free, but for someone they love, it is even harder to confess than going to his home 10 times without any reason to have a chance encounter.

That's why Donghae would go shopping at Hyukjae's home to take clothes, would get into his home without prior notice, and would create trouble for Hyukjae.

All these unreasonable acts are just ways for him to express his affection and how he misses him. Even though ENFJs don't have any difficulties socialising in most situations, can get people liked so easily. However, it is hard to find real love for someone like this. When real love appears, it would make them forget all their social skills, back to using sincerity and warmth to get close to someone he loves.

All in all, friendships are usually natural and poised, while romantic relationships are usually very meticulous. After so many tests and justifications, all are just worried that the other does not like them.

After all the analysis, it is obvious that Eunhae's personalities are so different from each other. One of them is warming, giving his all at once, the other is rational, giving more and more of himself gradually.

Although these differences would require them to have a lot of adjustments for each other, the way they can complement each other is even more precious.

Also, personality is just a part of the innate factors in a relationship. More importantly, maintaining a relationship would also need the effort of the two people. One can understand the rationality and meticulousness of the other, one can tolerate the idealism and emotions of the other. It is because they understand each other enough, so they know those 'unreasonable acts' and 'not suiting your taste' are also ways to express their affection.

If saying love of Hyukjae is a rationalist giving all his impulsiveness and romance to Donghae, the love of Donghae would be an idealist giving all his vulnerability, sensitiveness and seamy side to Hyukjae.

Different from other shippers who use looks and eyesight to imagine those situations, Eunhaers are exceptionally special on 19+ questions. It is likely that others are just using something irrelevant and fake to imagine, while Eunhae is really real on this.

For materials like 716 Donghae's live, if we need to delve deeply, it is already not something we can cover up easily. After reading many introductions from different people on this ship, it seems that everyone is unanimously avoiding materials like this that can absolutely prove them (having sth special), while it is also no exception for me. Intimacy

An important aspect to determine the level of intimacy is the leverage between giving and taking.

For relationships with a lower level of intimacy, the more you would care about the materialistic benefits from it, as one would have a clearer boundary on their emotions. They would use whether they can obtain a satisfactory benefit to determine whether they would continue this relationship.

For relationships with a higher level of intimacy, it is not that they would just give and do not ask for taking. It is that while they are willing to give more, they would ask for the return on an emotional level.

After knowing all the good and bad sides of a person, they can still treat each other as an immaculate person, isn't it even harder? What is more precious about them is that even though they know about all these, they are still that appreciated, kind and excellent people in their hearts. The person they want to walk together till the end of their lives.

The private traveling stories of Eunhae are still accumulating...

It is common for one to find some private time or get along with other friends after dating for quite some time. There must be some days you want to get some quiet time on your own. It is normal to get bored with a person after getting along continuously for a very long time.

Even though they are always together when they are working, they still have to arrange extra schedules to take some rest together, going on trips (especially going abroad) happily. It can only tell that just working with each other cannot satisfy their needs to meet each other. The time that they need to care about the camera is just work. They still need time to meet each other privately.

Going on trips is often a killer to relationships. It is pretty easy to show each other their personal weaknesses and the places they are incompatible with each other. However, Eunhae almost always travel abroad together. They would even anticipate where they will be going for their next travel.

In short, time is never enough when they are with each other.

Donghae loves taking photos a lot. However, when paying attention to the target of his photos, I realised that apart from scenery and gatherings with many people, the one that appears the most is Hyukjae.

The moments that one would want to take photos of must be the time that one feels happy with and would like to save as memories. Everyone knows that Donghae's phone has a lot of Hyukjae that no one has ever seen.

One would not take photos for memories of miserable moments. One would also not take photos casually for everything as memories. Hence, a person that he would like to take photos of every moment, must be a person that he likes a lot.

Donghae is the first member to open YouTube in SJ. Shindong has mentioned before about Donghae finding him to learn about video editing. He still continues to edit all the videos on his own until now. The cover of his YouTube was Hyukjae initially. Hyukjae is the person that appears the most in his YouTube videos (including promotions). He even reserves a series only for D&E. It is a plausible guess that the initial reason for Donghae opening his YouTube channel was to make videos for Hyukjae...

This suits how romantic and emotional Donghae is...

Commitment

Research has shown that the level of commitment would affect whether people can maintain a relationship. The level of commitment is exactly the level of participation and investment in a relationship.

Making a commitment also represents making a choice. Promising to leave oneself in a relationship means giving up other possibilities. Hence, commitment also represents loyalty.

I can cry ten thousand times for the quote 'I will always be the person to accompany you' (Note that I noticed most English translations on this quote is wrong, as I have mentioned in my first two posts. Most Korean words can be converted to the corresponding Chinese words, so I am sure that this would be the accurate meaning of this quote.)

Before when I was writing the personality analysis of Hyukjae, the quote 'I will always be the person to accompany you' keeps appearing in my mind rent-free. The more I analyse this person, the more I feel how much he loves Donghae to speak a quote like this. It is absolutely not something that would come out of his mouth.

The person who could not give a proper reply for 6 I love yous that time, has spoken in front of everyone to Donghae about 'I will always be the person to accompany you'. He really has made himself as Donghae's Hyukjae.

Hyukjae is definitely not someone who can speak something like this casually. Just thinking from the perspective of directly voicing this out himself, he must have thoroughly considered about it.

Eunhae has secret appointments for the first sunrise and Christmas of every year. Even though people said that there must be an end to everything, these two people who linked each component of their lives with each other, seem to have prepared that they will not leave each other anymore.

After the two years of military enlistment, there is nothing in the world that can separate the two anymore, even for a short period of time.

The sense of ritual for Eunhae is really amazing. From the opening ceremonies of the schools, they have never been absent on any special occasions for each other. Such a sense of ritual, after analysing their personalities, can absolutely know that it is not because they are such kind of people, but they care for each other and their relationship enough to make these happen.

Perhaps due to the numerous difficulties that they have faced over time. It makes them feel that walking this path together for a very long time is something that they should commemorate. Time has reminded them again and again of how long they have accompanied each other on this path.

Those worth the wait are not the sunrises or the fireworks, but it is always that same person accompanying him. Without him, do these still have any meaning?

Eunhae analyses - why is Eunhae real - part 3 (psychology on Eunhae’s behaviours)

I tried to analyse Hyukjae's personality and his feelings towards Donghae (including those aspects in contradiction with his usual personality) from the perspective of mbti lately. It was the most tiring analysis I have ever written. I didn't systematically analyse Donghae because I think he can be understood too easily... He literally puts all his emotions on his face and can be understood even without a more scientific analysis.

(And then later this author did write an analysis on Donghae's mbti. Please stay tuned for it after the triangular theory of love.)

I also did quite a lot of research for this article. I want to analyse why romance exists between Eunhae from the facial expressions and actions that happen in an intimate relationship between humans.

Due to the limited length of the article, I cannot compare each of the pieces of evidence in a very detailed manner. Instead, I would put a few key points in the end. You can pay attention to these and then would understand the special relationships between Eunhae.

(Image translation: imitating the actions of others in order to let others believe in you and put their guards down. It is a skill in psychology in hypnosis --- mirroring. For instance, someone yawns in a quiet classroom. Another person would yawn immediately. And then the next person. And then the next, etc. just like getting infected)

The first definition I need to introduce is mirroring.

If this skill is not used in psychological research to gain trust from others intentionally but happens naturally instead, it is not a skill, but a phenomenon. Such a phenomenon can only happen between two people with an immense amount of trust. They would keep imitating others, but such imitation does not really sound like each other. It actually means that they are not simply imitating each other, but imitating how the image of each other in their hearts.

Eunhae often imitate each other, but interestingly the image they both imitate for 'each other' is very similar, yet does not sound like either one of them. It is a very typical example of 'mirroring'. The image they imitate usually cannot speak clearly and relies on each other a lot. It is actually the image of each other in their hearts.

Maybe in their personal lives, they always do aegyo to each other and rely on each other. They also speak softly. That's why it forms such an image that outsiders cannot understand, but only exists in each of their hearts.

A human's reaction to the humour of someone he/she likes, is also a very innate reaction.

For the same actions done, humans often give better reactions to someone they like. It is also what we call for wearing coloured glasses for someone we like.

It is common knowledge that Donghae literally laughs off everything Hyukjae does. Although his reactions are usually pretty strong, his reactions for Hyukjae are often even stronger.

Moreover, Donghae often has a pretty short attention span, yet when Hyukjae is doing something for reaction, he pays his full attention for Hyukjae, and the attention span is really long as well.

It is a type of action showing attraction. It is because Hyukjae gives him an even stronger attraction, so he gives an even stronger reaction.

Lots of puns from Donghae are actually quite hard to understand, which often makes other members speechless, yet Hyukjae is always the one paying the most attention to him. Hyukjae is also always the only one to give reactions to his puns. These are also instinctual actions about attraction. It means Donghae's attraction is the strongest for Hyukjae.

Contacts between humans also have different levels. Ordinary contacts often show a sense of distance, yet skinships only exist between intimate relationships.

For social courtesy, such as dancing in balls such kind of activities with a necessity for physical contact, an important courtesy is that when the hand of the male touches the waist of the female, even the position is not accurate or the male does not feel that it is a comfortable posture, he cannot adjust the position of his hand. Even adjusting position is actually impolite for two people without an intimate relationship.

Even for friends with very good relationships, no matter of the same sex or of the opposite sex, skinship is also not an action that can be easily accepted due to its intimacy, especially skinships without any sense of reluctance and avoidance. This would mean an extremely intimate relationship.

Also, physical contact and language communication can hardly happen together between people not being very intimate. You can only touch them, and speak when the other catches the attention.

However, Eunhae is having physical contact and language communication together in a habitual manner naturally. They would innately have skinship with the hands of the other and would speak what they want to speak while having physical contact with each other. Such natural instinct can hardly be done by acting or try to get them concealed.

The action of lying on each other can be done intentionally but having both of their arms crossed is an action that even a couple without a close enough relationship would not do. It is a classic action showing a sense of security, just like someone loves to hug a pillow when they sleep. Hugging a person innately can only happen when the other person can give you a strong sense of security. You can go to watch some dramas if you are interested. The male and female main characters would not even have these details when they act. It is hard for directors to think of details like this as well. Even the people doing these actions can hardly notice them themselves.

It is because this action is really rare, yet it gives a very important meaning when it happens.

Hugging is also a common action with much more I can talk about.

Compared with normal hugging, a more intimate hugging can be noticed in the distances between the heads and the legs.

The hugs between Eunhae would show crosses between their legs naturally, for example, this hug right after Hyukjae got released from the military. The distance between their head is also closer than normal, for example having kisses on the shoulder.

As Donghae loves to hug people too much, I don't do the analysis on him first. Yet, we can see the hug between Hyukjae and other people. He innately gives a distance between his head and the other person.

This is not something absolute, as during some emotional moments, Hyukjae's hugs with someone like his members, are also full of intimacy and trust, but the difference is that for Eunhae, you almost cannot find a hug with them pulling a distance between each other.

Some of the parts of the body are defined as sensitive. Not only that it has a relation to sex, but also physiologically these parts can innately reflect the reaction from the hearts of the people.

Ears and necks are two of the very classical examples. Almost no one can allow people who are not intimate enough to touch these two positions, which are related to the sense of security and sex.

However, the self-protection of these two parts between Eunhae basically does not exist.

If you notice how Donghae insists to stimulate Hyukjae from his ears, we can even boldly assume that not only is Donghae sure Hyukjae would not resist such action, but also he even knows Hyukjae would give special reactions to such action so he intentionally stimulates Hyukjae.

Even Donghae who has a high tolerance to physical contact, you can see a difference in the level of acceptance for touching his ears between Hyukjae and other people.

If saying touching the ear is showing the level of acceptance, touching the neck is showing the level of possession. Eunhae has a special obsession with the neck of each other, especially Hyukjae. Touching the neck or Adam's apple of the other is definitely not a normal physical contact.

Eunhae's 'obedience' towards each other, is often without hesitation and reluctance. Such kind of trust is the result of both the level of relationship and time. They would not have done and understood tacitly like how they are now without either of the component.

'Obedience' is a complicated and high-level intimate relationship. Not only does it mean absolute reliance and trust, but also implicitly shows how they get used to being with each other and adjust their actions according to each other over a long time.

Eunhae would not ask for the reason when they tell each other to do some weird actions and cooperate without hesitation. It is really rare. It also means that the power of each other is having priority over their own rationality, or even absolute obedience.

Only if they can ensure the counterpart would not hurt themselves, or even trust the counterpart unconditionally even if it would hurt themselves, would this level of obedience happen.

Certainly, apart from these details that can still be analysed, like eyesight such kinds of interactions can only be understood by themselves, but not by languages. Facial expressions, actions, and languages can be developed into a complete and systematic field of science. It is not just the result of research. More importantly, it is the innate physiological reaction that one would have but many have overlooked.

The difference between the relationships between humans can often be shown in certain small details. It is these details that build up a special human being.

If need to delve further, the degree of the corner of the mouth raised when one smiles can even be analysed. However, I think this level of detail is really sufficient right now.

Humans can often lie after getting a thorough consideration, but your innate physiological behaviours would not. Your innate physiological behaviour would get you closer to the person you want to get close to.

My analysis is not to prove that love exists,

but we can always find evidence of love.
