Okay, time for try two because my last post apparently disappeared off the face of tumblr! Can I just start by saying holy crap? I never expected to get anywhere near this many followers on tumblr. Are all of you lost? Because I think all of you are lost. Maybe I’ll get you a map. But in all seriousness, thank you. It’s been a horribly busy, completely crazy semester and I just want to thank all of you for sticking by me despite my incredibly slow replies and basically non-existent presence. This blog wouldn’t be anything without my followers, and this is my way of saying thank you to all of you for putting up with me!

   she’s so close to being walker food, hands poised on the undergrowth, feet stumbling on the catches in the rocks. it’s close– one of the dead has their teeth NOT far from crunching through her leg that her heart has already sunk deep inside her chest.

   daryl’s voice makes her look up, hair fluttering about her face, braid trailing over her shoulder. his hand is thrust towards her, offering HELP, and she manages to balance herself on one hand just enough to grasp at him, pulling herself off the ground.

   once she’s up, and the walker has been put down with a single bolt through the skull, she falls into step with him, palm resting momentarily on his back. “thanks,” annie says, the beginning of a smile curling at each corner of her mouth. “thought for SURE i was a goner.”

    her gun is loose in her grip, feet stumbling on the floor beneath her shaking body. the woman’s voice sends an unsure shiver though her, index finger pushing down a little more on the trigger, prepared to shoot if needed. ❛ NOT dead! ❜ annie calls back, words constricted by the heavy breaths choked from her parched throat.

   legs giving out beneath her. she trips, painfully hitting the ground with an almost silent crunching noise filling her ears. the woman is approaching, much closer than she was before, and the brunette looks up at her, gun on the floor a few feet away; TOO far for her to grab if the other poses a threat. ❛ hey, give me a hand? ❜

                 i know she was only in a few episodes ( and rarely got lines ) but i miss annie’s presence in this show so bad? she honestly could have been such a good character and gotten so much development and been an amazing member of team family?? i’m just so emotional over this babe. okay but just look how cute she is.

       ‘Yeah, sure,’ she wrapped an arm around her waist, ‘coming    from personal experience I’d say it was a sprain.’

   She laughed, remembering all the times she’d done the very same    thing. On the road to Terminus she’d cried for Glenn to leave her,    she was just slowing them down. She could see in Annie’s eyes    that she felt similar thoughts. But she was back now, home.

                                     ‘So, what the hell happened out there?’

      ‘Things just went to shit--’ Annie said, shaking her head as the other   woman  grasped onto her, helping keep her upright.     

  She limped alongside Tara, very grateful for the help and support that Tara   provided. Her ankle still hurt to holy hell but it was better when she had help;   not having to rely on trying to limp on her own.

                                                     ‘I tripped and fell, tried to convince them later on to leave me                 behind but Michonne... your people are good people, I forgot to thank                 them. They saved my life, twice. I wouldn’t be here right now without                 their help.’

             She’d been taken aback by the voice. In Alexandria it was one of those ‘everyone knows you but you don’t know anyone’ kind of situation’ – especially when you’re new. At first she wasn’t even sure she was being spoken to, till the brunette stepped closer. Alicia eyed her for the moment before really thinking about what she said. ❝ Deanna? Not me no, I think Travis did but – can you do that? No offence or anything but I thought she was like top-dog. ❞ She paused, shifting her weight to her left leg. Runs would be dangerous. But they’d keep her in shape for the shit the world was. ❝ I’m interested. ❞

            Alicia was fast and smart, she would be a good addition to their team and if it meant anything, Annie admired her. ❝ Aiden’s her son, if he tells her you’re in, you’re in. ❞ They hadn’t exactly spoken to the “top-dog” yet but if Deanna’s eldest son made a request, she would probably listen. There wasn’t a guarantee the leader would but after losing one of their group members a few weeks ago, they had kept their eyes out for someone who would fit in easily on the team and when Annie had suggested the teenager, no one had refused. So, she seeked her out, offering something to get her out the gates. No person in their right mind would turn it down. ❝ I’ll tell him you’re interested-- you don’t want to talk to your mother first? ❞

They’re all used to feeling like shit these days, to being covered in so much blood and dirt that they can barely distinguish between whether it’s theirs or someone else’s. Usually, runs were standard issue, not many walkers and not many injuries, but Pete still had to check them over just in-case. They had lost people just like everyone else, didn’t mean they had to stop caring. ❝ – Don’t look it. ❞

      “It’s just my ankle, I’ll be fine,” the woman lied, hand grasping just above her boot, trying to cease the aching throbbing through her limb. But still, the other woman was kind enough to offer, to hold a bottle of cracked water to Annie’s lips, offer her something to eat. “--But thank you, I appreciate it. Don’t know how far I would’ve made it without your help.”
