|The exuvia can smell Venti coming along before he can hear him. Nonetheless, he does not move from his spot, curled in on his body to preserve heat. It’s far too early for the wind archon to be here pestering him. Who even told him where Zhongli was? He hisses, shaking out his mane as Venti clambers on, pulling on his hair. For a brief moment he considers eating Venti, but he'd probably get indigestion.

"No. I am not your steed." He all but growls his reply.  Lifting his head, he turns his  in an attempt to catch a glimpse of Venti with a squint. "Go fly by yourself. You have magic." However, now that Venti has disturbed him, he’s unfortunately awake for the day. He turns away to yawn, stretching his maw open wide to expose all of his teeth briefly.

Zhongli was an epitome of knowledge. He’d picked up a lot over the years, knew even more from his time as an archon. He was practically bursting with knowledge of things other people found pointless. The traveler enjoyed listening to him speak on even the most tedious of topics. His voice was a source of comfort to her, with it’s deep and steady pace. She’d have listened to him ramble about the intricacies of the proper painting technique if he wanted to talk about it.

Peeking up at him when he paused to address her, she shook her head. “Nope. Not a single thing.” Today was a rare day off where she wasn’t doing any menial tasks for people. No hilichurls needed slaying, no qingxin flowers to gather for someone’s sore throat, and definitely no mindless hunting for a sword she wasn’t even sure existed. The woman cast him a sly look. “I’m frankly more surprised that no one has stopped me to ask if I could deliver a pound of bacon to someone than I am of anything else. Not that I’m complaining. It’s good mora. Just…” She sighed, taking a moment to inhale the sweet, fresh scent of the bouquet. She had more important things she needed to do. Like finding her way into Inazuma. Finding Aether.

“Sometimes it’s hard for me not to lose sight of what’s important because I’m not making any progress.“ Lumine wasn’t sure he could understand. She just knew he’d at least listen.

|Well that was odd indeed. It's very rare for the traveler to stay in one spot for so long. He vaguely recalls possibly seeing her in the pond near Boo Boo pharmacy, but he may have been imagining things.

"Are you certain you haven't made any progress? You've come quite the way from Mondstat to Liyue and that in of itself is quite the feat." For a mortal. "Would you like to speak on it? Perhaps it would help.” He doesn’t particularly know what’s troubling her as he tends to keep to himself with private matters. “Or we could take a walk to take your mind off of things. The Lantern Rite is quite lovely this time of year.”
