I feel like some of you guys think "bad art" is like someone gluing rhinestones to a water melon, or a guy who made his own armchair out of Ohio license plates, or a trashy romance novel where someone says "the blue-eyed one kissed the brown-eyed one," when in reality bad art is a 1000000 Billion Dollar movie where none of the workers got paid and every single creative decision was market tested to see how lucrative of a profit it could foreseeably make to wow shareholders.

Being in this community is a little painful sometimes because it's hard to attract the attention of other selfshippers.

Tiktok is absolutely not a good place for fictosexual selfshippers, because people there are MEAN as hell. They only treat you in a decent way if you arent fictosexual and/or you selfship for fun.

Tumblr blogs, however, feel like they never get any visibility 😭😭 it's so hard to reach an 'audience', I've had a blog (unrelated to yumeshipping) for about 6 months and it still has 70 followers despite me posting at least once a day. Posting fics and art on tumblr would make me so sad if I literally were to get only 10 likes in a whole week. People here rarely talk about how discouraging it is to post your work (and revealing a pretty vulnerable part of yourself) without it getting any recognition :( i know i post because I love my f/os, but I come to tumblr bc there's no one irl who I can share my experiences with, yk??

💙 Your F/O has never and will never doubt the fact you have a disability, they believe you and witness how it impacts your day to day life. They're always happy to comfort you or just lend an ear whenever you need to destress or vent out your frustrations

🪽 They'll never treat your disability, and however it may limit you, as something unimportant. The very idea that someone could tell you to "suck it up" or that "others have it worse" makes them genuinely disgusted and furious. They know your experiences matter and they'll always make sure you're seen and heard

💙 Accommodating you isn't an issue for them in any way! Your comfort and well-being will always be more valuable than any amount of money, so if you ever need anything to soothe or take care of yourself, they're happy to bring it straight to you, whenever and wherever. Noise cancelling headphones, stim toys, safe foods, medication, they'll stock up on whatever you need

🪽 They'll always do their best to be caring, patient and understanding. They understand that sometimes things can get overwhelming for you, and that it may make you tired, emotional or irritable and they'll always be there for you in any way you need them to be.

💙 Need some time alone? Just call them over when you're ready! Need a hug so you can cry for a bit? You're always safe in their embrace. Can't do chores or keep up with relationship "expectations"? They'll cover the housework for you and gladly wait until you're ready/comfortable with physical touch and other general lovey dovey things!

🪽 No matter how your disability affects your life, your F/O is ready to adapt their schedule and lifestyle to make life a little nicer for you! You're everything they love and adore and they'll make sure you always feel at home with them
