my high school used to start at 7:30 and I lowkey think that was child abuse
#my high school started at 7:25 and I can guarantee I was sleep deprived throughout the entire thing#school starting so early is even worse if you've got something up with your circadian rhythm#and it's even worse because the reason I couldn't get anyone to admit there was something wrong with me throughout school?#everyone just says teenagers prefer to be up late#so apparently we're knowingly forcing kids and teens onto schedules that are unnatural to them and expecting it to be fine#I did not get told I needed 10 hours of sleep though I got told 8-9 hours
