somehow,  it  felt  anything  but  a  common  reaction  for  her  to  reach  up  to  her  throat  once  he  had  commented  on  it,  dumb  even.  and  still,  had  she  performed  the  action.  the  cough  resounding  from  herself  was  soon  replaced  with  a  small  simper  amongst  lips.   ❝   thanks.  i  don’t  remember  it,  to  be  honest.  i  was  𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒 so  i  guess  that  says  all.   ❞   yet,  once  words  had  left  lips,  it  felt  wrong  to  not  chirp  in.   ❝   i  don’t  have  a  low  pain  tolerance  though   ❞   words  seemed  to  pull  her  away,  drift  her  off.  a  shrug  followed  then  as  eyes  mustered  her  opposite.   ❝   how  about  you?  got  anything  similar  to  a  tattoo?  scars  or  something?   ❞  

       ❛  i’d  wanna  be  unconscious  too.  high  pain  tolerance  or  not.  sounds  killer.  looks  worth  it  though!  ❜  though,  he  can’t  seem  to  remember  what  pain  feels  like.  it’s  been  too  long.  he  does  know  it’s  not  a  feeling  he’d  like  to  feel  again  anyway  ----  most  times.  the  thought  is  fleeting,  quick  to  fall  back  on  track.  ❛  nah,  no  tattoos.  used  to  have  a  cool  as  fuck  looney  tunes  one.  ❜  he  does  miss  that  one.  ❛  closest  thing  i  got  to  a  scar  is  this  little  welding  thing  i  got,  ❜  he  lifts  up  his  arm,  tapping  his  finger  against  the  metal,  ❛  got  a  finger  shot  into  it.  left  a  hole,  kinda  weird,  ya  know?  ❜

           ❛  is  that  a  candle?  on  your  throat?  ❜  it’s  been  a  while  since  he’s  gotten  the  chance  to  really  get  out.  neck  tattoos  weren’t  super  common  thirty  years  ago.   ❛  that’s  fucking  cool.  ❜  never  something  he’d  get  for  himself  -  well  if  he  had  a  body  anymore  -  but  he  can  appreciate  it.  he  was  more  of  a  fan  of  easily  hidden  ones.  still,  very  punk.   ❛  bet  it  hurt  like  a  bitch  though.  ❜
