🌙⭐Mario and Luigi Boss Mural! ⭐🌙

Yo! We aren't dead! Promise! In fact, We've been setting up a little something for the community of not just Stellar Bonds but the whole Mario and Luigi fanbase! We at the stellar crew aim not just to make a fangame of our beloved series but also build a community around it to bring fans together! With that, We would like to announce an event that we're holding in our very own Stellar Bonds Discord Server!

Any artist and/or fan of the series can participate and draw one Non-papercraft/Giant boss from any of the games picked out from a spreadsheet we have that hasn't been claimed yet by replying to this here post or by joining the discord and doing so in the respective event channel! Then, After claiming a boss, You can then submit the drawing (Preferably with a transparent background) in either a post mentioning this account ( @stellarbonds ) or by posting it within the discord in its respective channel!

As of making this post there are still 60 bosses remaining! We hope that you all have fun in this community-wide tribute to the Mario and Luigi Series!

⭐🌙Item Sprites!🌙⭐

The Stellar Crew is hard at work with development! We can't show all too much now, but just know that progress is being made! In the meantime however, We do have a small teaser for some items that we hope you'll enjoy!

🌙⭐Stellar and Lunar points!⭐🌙

If you've paid attention, You might've saw that in our last teaser that there are some little bars on top of the bros health stats and that they were filled when preforming successful attacks!

These are Stellar and Lunar points! These will be required to utilize some of your more powerful actions during combat!

SP and LP are naturally needed to preform Stellar and Lunar attacks, but they also are used to activate badges! We believe that this will include a more interactive combat system with resource management, deciding between using a powerful attack or getting utility from your badges!

An example concept of badges and how they will work is shown below:

⭐🌙The State Machine!🌙⭐

Behold our custom made state Machine! Its inclusion has significantly simplified and improved the making of new movesets and battle states!

This also includes a preview of our combat system! Of course there's still much to be worked on, however our progress is steady and it is only going up from here!

We're opening our ask box over on @askthesprites for questions for Stellar Bonds' Star Sprite Siblings, Starlow and Lunaris!

So feel free to ask away any questions you may have for those two and possibly any others you might want to ask about!

🌙With new bonds come new abilities!⭐

Introducing....

🔥Stellar/Lunar attacks!⚡(Stellunar for short)

Inspired by both the more skillful prowess of Superstar Saga attacks and wondrous Luiginary attacks from Dream Team, These new elemental attacks will be powerful new additions to the bros arsenal!

They do, However, come with the twist of not being performed by both Mario & Luigi, but instead the bro and their respective star sprite! This means these attacks are performed with Mario & Starlow and Luigi & Lunaris respectively!

These Stellunar attacks will generally start similarly to the concept below...

Another preview we have in store for you! A sneak peek of some button prompts that we've been developing for the battle system!

🌙Pixel artists/Animators wanted⭐

The stellar crew is looking for some Pixel Artists and Animators to help out with development!

We even went through the effort to get the King of the Koopas himself to help out with the announcement! (We totally aren't forcing him to help or anything) If you're a Pixel artist/Animator and want to help out with the project, feel free to join into the discord below and put in an application! We would love to have you on the team!
