;;ooc: I've had a heart condition pretty much my whole life (defective mitral valve) but during my last check-up last August my cardiologist was super positive in the sense that there's almost no leakage despite the valve not quite closing like it should. I even could wait a bit longer between check-ups so I was feeling really good about it. But these past few days, I've been having very bad heart palpitations as well as a strange pressure/slight pain on the left side of my chest. T ^ T It's a really scary feeling which means I'm constantly on the verge of a panic atack, but the stress only makes the symptoms worse so it really feels like I'm stuck in a vicious cycle.

If it's not better by Monday, I should probably schedule an appointment with my doctor...

Despite the gentle nature of the action, there was an ever-so-slightly dark undertone in his voice when he spoke those words - causing her to shiver in response. Surely she should feel happy to hear that someone cherished her to the point of being willing to do anything.

So why...Did it frighten her?

Not because she was scared of what he might do.

But because she feared that he would grow too attached to her without realizing the bigger picture.
