My husband got recommended a "news" article about like "the rise of gooning" the other day and it was funny but he started following it to it's source and it turns out that article was referring to a vice article, that referred to and sourced statistics from the obviously reputable scientific website ziphealth.com (a website that sells Viagra), which actually makes a lot of sense when you think about why anyone would "fund a study" that reports that like 20% of American baby boomers are gooning on the regular. Idk why but I can't stop thinking about that whole thing. So funny to me

It sucks when you hear a song from a band you're unfamiliar with and you really like it so one of the first things you do is search them up on tumblr so you can check out the vibe around them and maybe reblog some of their stuff to remind yourself to listen to later but everything in the first few posts you see about them are talking about things like "terf wars" and "terfs fuck off" and shit, so then you decide that song you liked earlier was probably a one off fluke because you are not interested in becoming emotionally engaged with shit like that and then eventually you decide to forget that song even existed in the first place

This was a very successful garden experiment btw. A few days before I left for Paris I cut a bunch of chamomile and stuck them face down in a jar in a very sunny and warm window to see if I could dry lots of flowers at once that way over the next two weeks. It actually worked better than I expected! And it looked so pretty.

Imagine being the moth that I just found sleeping inside of a bundle of chamomile stalks that I was drying in a jar in my kitchen window. It startled me to find something fluttering when I was breaking off the dried flower buds tonight but objectively it was really cute. Like. Imagine being so small and finding this spot in a warm jar where the air smells like fresh chamomile constantly. Imagine that level of cozy. He moved so slowly, he was absolutely lost in the sleepy..... I would be too.
