Mom and dad brought home some more of my favorite little tiny doggos today. The little #himilayanrat as well as one of the #maskedrat are boys, the other masked marauder is a female. They're all from the same litter, about 5 weeks old (Born November 1, 2019). Mom and dad got Nigel and Winston from the same people. N & W met them very briefly and they seem to be just fine with each other, but these two are so very little and need time to adjust to their surroundings before going into the bigger cage with the older boys. They're all small enough to reside in these little hamster cages for the next week or so so. Little girl will be introduced to Coconut and Scotch but there hasn't been any success in the past with introducing new rats to those two. Meet Nigel and Winston. We picked up a couple new friends for Ralph to live his last days with. We don't know how long he has left, being over 4 years old. But we hope he and his new friends have a great time together. Mom @sephers here. These boys impress me on a daily basis with how smart, talented, loyal, patient and friendly they are. It doesn't matter who gets to the bowl first, Dice always lets Poker eat first. He'll back up and lay down until Poker has his fill and then once Poker leaves, Dice will follow suit. They have never fought over food, treats, bones, etc. Although, Poker does have a tendency to want whatever Dice is chewing on and will stare at him incessantly, even going so far as to try the "puppy dog eyes" on him.
