Hey y'all! I'm teaching another workshop!

I don't post on tumblr much anymore, so if you don't know me, I was the animation director for the first seasons of Castlevania and The Owl House, the visdev animator for Across the Spider-verse, and the one who drew that Zagreus hair flip thing.

This time I'll be teaching draftsmanship for animation. If you're looking for ways to improve your drawing for animation, storyboarding, or really anything that requires speed and consistency, this is the one for you. I'll be sharing my own approach for drawing characters, as well as tips and tricks that are common in the animation industry.

I'm trying so hard not to retweet all the gifs from Castlevania, in case people haven't gotten around to watching it yet, but there are so many great ones popping up in my feed. So proud of our team this season, and every season tbh. Lots of blood, sweat, and tears poured into this one as per usual. We hope you all love it! ❤️

I havent gone through and put up any of my work from the season. It's hard for me to point out all specifics I worked on since I touched up so many shots, and did a lot of the post-rev drawovers and touchups on several faces, or things like ice on Richter's arm callouts. I did get to do the closeup on bonfire Erzabet! Though all in all I think my gore quota was lower than usual this season. 🤣
