SHOULD I KEEP IT OR CUT IT?
A friend is someone who we called our ā€œother halfā€ because he/she knows everything about us. A friend is someone who we called part of our family because he/sheā€™s always there for us to listen, to give advice and the one who understand us when no one else does.
A friend is someone who make us happy, make us laugh, make us inspired and motivated, thatā€™s why he/she has a space in our hearts.
However, thereā€™s always be a struggle or a battle. I want you to know that arguing is part in our level. But please, donā€™t take it seriously. Donā€™t be mad at me.
Should I really have to keep this friendship? besides I can already cut it... but no, never. All the good things you've done for me is more important than one mistake, so please, forgive me. I missed how we used to talk, my best friend.Ā

Does it look like a crab? yes it does, because itā€™s a CRAB!
I made this using a clay because I found itĀ  easier to do than other objects or things and also because I was amazed when I found out that CRABS are often work together to get food and help protect their families which defines the real life of the people where in an individual can do anything just to supply the needs of their love ones.Ā

DEKADA 70 is a Filipino Drama film by Lualhati Bautista. The movie was about the life of BARTOLOME family during martial law.
Again, the movie was about all the miserable phenomena happened in their family(Bartolome family) at the time of martial law. Like on what happened on Amandaā€™s Son(Jules) when he decided to be an activists, the reason why he sent to prison. And also Jason(his son also) who was imprisoned because of accusing him that his using marijuana but he was released in just a few moments, heā€™s missing at that time and then Amanda got the news that Jason was killed. When Jules was released from prison, all members of the family became an activists and because of that Ferdinand Marcos regime was peacefully overthrown.
The movie shows how the connection or the relation between the citizens and the government has gone. The government tortured the people and also they removed the rights of the citizens, those government officials who had a power were those people who abused it.

Compare and Contrast the three phases of Philippine Literature (Pre-colonial, Spanish and American Colonization). The Pre-Colonial show how Filipinos grew in control over their environment. And also at that time, there was already an indigenous cultures/traditions practiced by people living in the Philippines. Then when the Spanish colonized us they also brought something bad and good at the same time in our country. They treat us as a savage and they were also the one who brought us Christianity, their strategy was to undermine the native oral tradition of the Filipino by substituting for it the story of the Passion of Christ. This is also the beginning of the Indio literacy. And lastly, American colonized the country because they helped the Philippines to won against Spaniards. When they started to govern our country, a lot improvements/developments happened(mostly in culture and education). They implemented "English" as a medium of instruction for all children in all levels of education in public schools. The similarities between the three period is that they were all brought development in our country and they influenced us until now.

MOVIE ANALYSIS
Heneral Luna was written by Henry Francia, E.A. Rocha and Jerrold Tarog. It was also directed by Jerrold Tarog. Itā€™s a movie about a hero named ā€œAntonio Lunaā€ who fight for his country when Philippines was under the American Colonization. But what he did wasnā€™t appreciated by the Filpinos besides they were the one who killed him. Emilio Aguinaldo was the President at that time and he elected Juan Luna as one of his General because of his potential and bravery. As a general, Juan Luna did his best to accomplish his responsibilities. When all the Government Officials had a meeting, the topic about the relationship between the Philippines and United States opened. Some Gov. Officials explained that it was good that they have a communication with American because they can help to improve the country but gen. luna strongly explained his part that the reason why American helped us is no longer about business, itā€™s because they already want us to seize. He headed all his soldiers and forced people to help. Some people defined him as a ā€œDictatorā€, he still forced the people to fight the American because he want to possess the freedom for his country which is the Philippines. One time, he received a message from the President, Emilio Aguinaldo. The message says that the President wants to talk to him. It makes him happy because he thought that his plan was started to work or happened. He was so excited to meet the Pres., so they went in Cabanatuan. While they were on the way, some of his staff said that their rigā€™s destroyed and also because the horses canā€™t cross the river. Gen. Luna decided to go at Cabanatuan first with his two soldiers or staff. That was the time that he didnā€™t even know that someone or some people already planned to kill him. He was killed by his fellow Filipinos. When Pres. Emilio Aguinaldo got the news, he went back at Cabanatuan and gave his explanation or his side. He said that heā€™s not the one who made a letter for Gen. Luna besides heā€™s the one who got a letter from Luna that he is going to meet the President at Cabanatuan and heā€™s not there when he came, he said that Gen. Luna is the bravest of all his gen. so he canā€™t do that on him. And he also added that because of what happened on Gen Luna, he just lost the fight. The movie shows how American colonize or led the Philippines. If Iā€™m going to compare the American Colonization and Spanish Colonization, our life became better when American had a communication with us, they helped the country because they want to get the trust of the Filipinos. Thereā€™s a lot changes happened in the country when they started to govern the Philippines. Well, Filipinos should still thank them because they are one of the reasons why we have now our freedom. They are one of the reason why our country improved more, they teach us a lot and they were influenced us. But all of that is because of their interest. While watching the movie, I realize that ā€œTRUSTā€ is not just a word and ā€œGIVING TRUSTā€ is not easy. Like how Filipinos became blind on what Americans did in our country, they didnā€™t believe on Gen. Luna and it so easy for them to give their trust on the American people. I also noticed ā€œNATIONALISMā€ because itā€™s about being ready to die for your beloved country and like what Gen. Luna did, he fight just to possess the freedom of his country. The movie was chronological because thereā€™s a sequence of the story. It was also a nice film because it happened in the real life or itā€™s a ā€œTRUE TO LIFEā€ story. The movie was also informing us on what happened at that time. The cast of the movie are amazing, they were all good.
