I work as a Freelance Cameraman / Camera Operator based in North Manchester but travel extensively all over the UK and Internationally. I have been working in film and media for over 10 years and have a B.A in Film & Digital Media. I have been fortunate to work with numerous high end clients including NHS, Greater Manchester Council, Birmingham City Council, Natwest, ENYGF and London Fashion Week to name but a few. Film making is my passion and I live and breath all things film and photography related. I am meticulous when it comes to detail and strive for nothing less than perfection. Im always looking for a challenge and enjoy nothing more that immersing myself in projects to their conclusion and the complete satisfaction of the client . Most of my clients return year after year due to my professional and flexible approach to work and the outstanding quality that i can bring to any given project.. I have a wide variety of kit and can shoot 4K raw with high speed frame rates with a variety of grip and sound equipment for uncompromising coverage of your project. I also provide post production using the latest editing software and often provide real-time edits in the field. Bury 10K Run Event. Recently had the great pleasure of shooting the Bury 10K. This is the third time I have shot this awesome event and the second time I got wet!! Having said that the sun did eventually shine and you wouldn’t have known we had bad weather, all the competitors really love this event and I always get lots of smiles and positive reactions from all who attend. Jewish Wedding Film. If you only ever watch ONE of my wedding films make sure its this one!! It has all the elements of a great movie, energy, excitement, dancing, romance and of coarse some serious partying. Fashion Show Highlights. Headed over to Geneva recently during Arab week to shoot the highlights of the Oriental Fashion Show. This was a solo shoot traveling light and grabbing backstage and catwalk shots to produce a snappy little highlight of the event. Held at the prestigious Kempinski hotel the event was well attended with a great line up of international designers. Interviews added to give a little more narrative.

Promotional Video. This is the second promo I produced for Airofin and was shot around various locations in Manchester, including Salford Quays, Tatton Park and Whittington. Shot with Sony FS7 in 4K and migrated to HD for fast web display. Colour graded and edited using Davinci Resolve to give a cool cast with strong tones to reflect the modern and stylish positioning of the brand.

Conference film and photography. I shot this conference video over a few days with a colleague. We were commissioned to film and photograph the ENYGF conference at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester and really had to rise to the challenge. Shot on the Sony FS7 with accompanying A7RMK2′s for photography this was a great event to really test our kit to the max. Many of Victoria Warehouses rooms are quite dark with mood lighting and the Sonys really held their own with the great lens selection we used. The event was over 4 days and also included an evening at the Museum of Science & Industry which I highly recommend a visit to if you get chance. All editing and post production was done by myself using Adobe After Effects.

Conference film. I film quite a few conferences, ranging from one day events up to one week. The RCM called on me to film their two day conference at Manchester Central and it turned out to be a superb event. Very well organised and lots of activity using most of the event space at Manchester Central. This particular conference was shot using the Sony A7RMK2′s and a couple of radio mics for the interviews. I also shot some nice steady moving shots on the gimbal just to add a more dynamic feel to the video.

Wedding film. Its always nice top have a bit of variety in the work I do and shooting a wedding is one of the most rewarding yet challenging things I do. Great to incorporate some drone work in this short highlights and if you want more info about some of the wedding work I do head on over to wedding-video and check out some of my other work. I travel extensively across Europe filming high end weddings but also love to shoot more local events also.

Create a story. Working with Bury council I created this documentary to tell the story of the I will if you will campaign (IWIYW). Bury council worked in conjunction with sport England to encourage more women to participate in sport or exercise. Our brief was to tell the story so far going back three years, using a series of interviews which we shot along with additional footage which previous companies had filmed. This was a great campaign and a really enjoyable project for us to get involved in.

Promotional Video. Shot a short promo for Airofin sportswear brand, this was part of a a full edit for the company to showcase their unique sportswear for Triathlon, Cross-fit and swim wear. We produced two edits after shooting which they rolled out on social media. Great to work with this company and really enjoyed putting together these shorts.
