Trump of course bleated about weakening NATO since he began his campaign. He also had his people remove the plank in the 2016 GOP platform which supported Ukraine. setting off the first alarm bell about who exactly was giving him advice and direction.

Then in 2018 after meeting Putin Trump spoke again about curtailing NATO, but instead of general terms of reducing funding he pulled out a laundry list of actions he wanted to take. Stopping the supply of Stinger anti-tank missiles to Poland was one, suspending the lengthening and hardening of runways at NATO airbases in Lithuania was another. Now…where oh where would this have come from? This level of specificity was astonishing, and revealed how much Putin feared the West encircling the former USSR.

Now he has invaded Ukraine to try to restore the previous USSR buffer. He has Belarus already and by at a minimum partitioning Ukraine at the Dnieper river he will have a zone from the Black Sea to the Gulf of Finland protecting the Motherland.

He will not give up on his vision. As one analyst put it today, the only two expected outcomes are a long war or a long occupation. 

It is the 21st century and there is another land war in Europe. Mankind gets what it deserves.

According the op, the chuizi weighs 8 jin (~4kg; ~8.8lb) and the armor weighs 38 jin (~19kg; ~41.9lb)
