Hey we’re on tumblr now! This is the official What Pumpkin tumblr account, where we’ll be posting about site updates and sharing news. Maybe even doing a little reblogging, since it seems that’s basically what tumblr is for. We’ll see!
So let’s dive right in and announce that we just restocked the store with a bunch of hoodies! This update mostly covers zippies, but we stocked some pullover hoodies as well. Still to come over the next couple weeks are 1. the currently sold out pullover hoodies, and 2. Void, Doom, Space, Rage, Mind, Sun, and Heart zippies in 4XL.
The Spirograph necklace and Homestuck Kids enamel pin sets are also back in the store!
One last thing: the 2012 Homestuck calendar (featuring gorgeous art by 13 artists) is on sale. Since almost half the year has elapsed already, we’ve knocked $8 off the price. There aren’t many left so get your hands on them now if you want one!

Homestuck Kickstarter Pledge Rewards Process Update
Hey, still-waiting-on-and-wondering-about-my-Kickstarter-rewards guys! So there have been a lot of emails from you guys (understandably so), and we’ve had a seriously difficult time getting to them. To the point where we’ve had to put 2-3 of our employees on a computer full time just answering them. And that’s 2-3 less people sorting, packaging and shipping the Kickstarter packages that remain to be shipped. While we’re still going through these emails, I’m hoping maybe a thorough explanation as to what’s going on at What Pumpkin with your Kickstarter goodies will help calm your worries caused by the delays we are experiencing. (On a side note, please include “address change” in the subject line regarding your emails about changing shipping addresses. We REALLY don’t want to miss those). We hope the following information will clear any worries you guys might be having. We know it’s been frustrating for all backers still waiting to receive packages and we’re putting all of our efforts to getting packages out speedily.   The vast majority of backers and What Pumpkin customers have been sweet, understanding and patient… and in generous proportions. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to be working with you, and are wholly thankful for your support in this Kickstarter. Amazon Pledges being shipped in the United States By far the largest representation of packages we’ve needed to ship out, we are nearing completion in sending these out. The $505 tier in this category left our offices yesterday and today. The $380 SEER/SLICK/FUN tier is currently being worked on and the last of them should be leaving sometime tomorrow. Or Thursday by the latest if we encounter any hiccups along the way. After these two tiers ship out, we will work on and ship out the remaining six tiers in this Amazon/domestic category, which are: $180 - SLICK/FUN $180 - SLICK/BRO $205 - SEER/BRO $255 - BROPRO/FUN $330 - SLICK/BROPRO/FUN $380 - SEER/SLICK/BROPRO And as I was writing this, we just decided that we are shipping out $180 SLICK/FUN for this category next. The remaining tiers from the above list should ship out relatively quickly, seeing as they are easier for us to process compared to other tiers. We’re guessing by the end of next week. If you pledged through Amazon, are having your Homestuck swag being mailed to somewhere in the United States, are not in any of the tiers mentioned above, and you haven’t gotten a shipping confirmation email or a package, shoot us an email. There might be a problem with your package, and we will be more than happy to remedy it. Amazon Pledges being shipped internationally to Canada and elsewhere International shipping has presented us with a series of unexpected, head-scratching obstacles throughout this entire process. Our plan from the beginning was to ship everything to you in one large box. This includes the Kickstarter-exclusive print which, when rolled, measures 24 inches long. The problem? Boxes being shipped via USPS First Class International cannot be longer than 24 inches (outside measurement). The inside measurement would be too small for that print, which we normally store in a protective tube that is at least 26 inches long. https://www.usps.com/ship/prepare-international-shipments.htm Another problem we are facing is that a handful of backers were either short on the amount of shipping required to ship to their particular area, or didn’t add for shipping at all. But not to worry. We are starting an email campaign shortly where we will contact everyone affected concerning shipping and offer options that will ensure your package gets shipped out in a timely manner. Now, as far as Canada, we have decided to ship all packages via UPS Standard. This should provide little hassle as UPS doesn’t have the same size restrictions that the US Post Office has. Unfortunately, UPS Standard is only a service offered when shipping to Canada. Using UPS to ship these large boxes anywhere else internationally (with even their cheapest shipping service) is still 5-10 times what we would normally be charged, and is thus cost prohibitive. For packages going internationally (excluding Canada), we will be shipping USPS First Class International. We are currently retooling our packaging process to fix problems regarding size restrictions and should be ready to ship these international packages very soon. Pledges placed via PayPal, whether domestic or international PayPal pledges have been delayed somewhat as we work to transcribe the survey information filled out by backers in a way that our shipping software can understand. This is crucial with international PayPal shipments, yet still necessary for even domestic PayPal shipments. While Kickstarter was able to collect all pertinent information regarding backers’ selections in their chosen tiers, our PayPal supplemental Kickstarter hosted on www.whatpumpkin.com did not offer us as elegant a solution as on Kickstarter.com. Backers were limited to choosing too few items when pledging due to limitations with PayPal, so a third-party survey service had to be used to collect all of your selections. And while it worked perfectly, and we’ve got all your selections, we’re still tasked with taking the information received from the surveys and joining it all with purchase and shipping information delivered to us by PayPal. We are working diligently on that process, and don’t expect there to be very much of a lag time between sending out Amazon pledges and PayPal pledges. We will keep you informed, though. As of this moment, the PayPal pledge packages that have gone out (domestically, and some internationally) are the $55 tier, the $105 GAMEPAK 2 tier, most of the $105 FUNPAK and the $1,000 tier. We’ll keep you updated as things progress via this Tumblr page or our Twitter at www.twitter.com/whatpumpkin. Thanks guys! - those people at that web-i-fied What Pumpkin store.

Kickstarter Shipping updates - 4/16/13
Hey y'all! We’ve had a bunch of people writing us about the international Kickstarter packages we’re shipping out now, and I’d like to address some of the more common concerns we’re hearing from you guys.
International pledge rewards being shipped in multiple packages
Some of you may be receiving packages containing only some of your pledge rewards. Because of United State Post Office weight restrictions on packages (maximum 4 lbs.), we are forced to break up most pledge reward packages when shipping them.
We are shipping the separate packages within a tier on the same day, but that won’t ensure that they arrive together on the same day. If you do only receive a portion of your pledge reward in a day, please give it a few more days or a week and they’ll most likely arrive in that time.
However, we do know that the rare package will go missing. If a while passes and you still do not receive the rest of your goodies, please write us and we’ll do everything we can to remedy the situation.
We are about 12 Tiers out from finishing international Amazon/Kickstarter package shipping
That 12 count includes the $1,000 Tier we are shipping out tomorrow, and the $380 SEERPAK + SLICKPAK + MSPA FUNPAK we are planning on shipping out Friday.
How about PayPal Kickstarter pledges?
Those pledges are taking a little longer to get through, but we are working on them at the same time as Amazon pledges. We shipped PayPal SNOUTPAKs last week, and are processing/shipping PayPal SEERPAKs this week.
If you have any questions regarding the status of your particular pledge package, I am fielding those questions at [email protected].
For all other store-related questions, please email us at our Help Desk: http://whatpumpkin.desk.com/customer/portal/emails/new
I also want to express how thankful we are to have backers and fans as supportive and patient as you guys have been. The response to our Kickstarter was monstrous, humbling and telling of how large and passionate the Homestuck fandom is. But more importantly, we’ve heard from many of you expressing support and understanding as we try to get everything out to you as quickly as we can. It’s extremely appreciated by everyone at What Pumpkin.
Thanks, guys! You rock!

We’ve still got a few of these bad boys left, and they are dying to see you in San Diego. If the above photo was a Gif, you’d see them shaking with joy.
God Tier Bafflers!

These beautiful puzzles, handmade by Chris Yates, are fun to put back together and make lovely display pieces. Though they are terrible for playing catch. Not for throwing, kids. Not for throwing.
Tarot Decks!

Unfortunately, we’ll only have a limited amount of these gorgeous decks at the convention, so they’re likely to sell out.

The New WhatPumpkin.com!
We’ve just upgraded WhatPumpkin.com! If we’re going to be working out of new digs, we might as well be selling out of new web-digs, too, huh? Right?
Anyway, let’s get down to business and see what’s going on.
New Products!
As we’ve said recently, we’re working on a lot of new products and plan to be launching them fairly regularly. A couple weeks ago, we launched our Beta Kids Backpacks. Today?
Beta Kids Graphic Tees - Drawn by Rendigo, these gorgeous tees feature John, Rose, Dave, and Jade on each tee. Take a selfie with Dave while he takes a selfie.
Jester Keychain - Based on the keychains used by Gamzee and Caliborn.
And that’s just the start! Wait until you see what else we’ve got down the line.
New Site Features!
On our new site, you’ll be able to do some neat new things. You’re now able to register an account. Use it to manage your address book, create a wish list, and keep track of orders.
We’ll also be accepting new payment methods. No longer will you be required to use PayPal to purchase with us. At the moment, you’ll be able to purchase directly with your credit card or with your PayPal account. But we’ll soon be adding more payment options.
You’ll also be able to sign up for email notifications on out-of-stock items. Once we restock on an item, you’ll be notified immediately by email. Eaaaasy.
Sale items!
The 2013 Homestuck Calendar is on sale for only $5! We marked it down to make way for new ones. They’re good through February 2014, so you can still get a good few months of use out of them. Bonus: all the lovely art in them can be enjoyed forever and ever. It’s a bargain!
Any help is appreciated.
We’ve worked pretty hard at getting our new site just right, but because it’s new, we know it’s not going to be perfect. If you encounter any errors with the site, please drop us an email at our help desk and let us know. We’ll get it fixed up right away! We hope our new site will improve your buying experience with us. We’re going to keep working to add some cool new features to it.
Welp… that’s all we’ve got for right now. Check out the new stuff, and come back later to see what else we’ve been working on!

2014 Homestuck Calendar - Coming Soon!
The title says it all, gang! We’ve gathered some amazing artists for this year’s calendar, and we’re happy to say they all knocked it out of the park for us. Gorgeous, gorgeous work throughout in this absolutely brilliant calendar.
It’s currently being printed, and we expect to have it up on our store sometime next week.
To tide you over until then, check out our calendar’s front cover. Illustrated by the wonderfully talented Gina Chacón, she worked on both the front and back covers of the calendar. You can follow her on Twitter, and see her work on Tumblr and deviantART.

So we’ve been periodically releasing a bunch of merchandise on the store leading up to the holidays. However, we’ve come to our final two release dates for 2013. Tomorrow (November 27th) and December 9th!
Tomorrow we’ll have a BIG release at What Pumpkin. It will be our largest day of product releases, making available for sale a bunch of goodies. Some new and wonderful, some you have been asking for us to make available for a long, long time. We’re all really excited!
Tomorrow we’ll also be announcing what will be going up for sale on December 9th, so you won’t have to decide if you should buy now or wait to see what else is coming out. All our cards will be put on the table for 2013.
We’ll also have sales on the store for Black Friday (November 29th) and Cyber Monday (December 2nd). Check on us later today for details on all that.
Oh also you guys are awesome. Did you know that? Well. Um. You are. You. Are.

Beta Kids Vinyl Figurine sneak peak photos!
Their weapons are removable and they are posable with articulating necks, arms (at varying points for each figurine) and waists.
They each come individually packed in a windowed box with gorgeous artwork depicting their respective lands.
Unfortunately, they won’t be delivered to our warehouse until sometime mid-December, so they will not be available for delivery by Christmas. Hence, when they go up they’ll be available only as a pre-order.
The figurines had originally been scheduled for a December 9th pre-order release, but will instead be postponed by a few days. Maybe a week. Everything else scheduled for release on December 9th will still be put up on the store later today! :D
(Purchasing note: if you pre-order any Beta Kids Vinyl Figurines together with other in-stock store items, we will hold your complete order until we’re able to ship the figurines. We won’t be able to split shipments, so please only place orders that include vinyl figurines if you’re willing to wait for everything in your order.)

What Pumpkin Staff Tumblr!
For a while, we at What Pumpkin were reblogging and sharing some of the amazing artwork we came across on Tumblr. Many of you are wildly talented and we’re excited to spread the word on the ones that really catch our eye. However, we’re going to make a little change in how we do that.
We’ve set up a second Tumblr account for reblogging artwork: What Pumpkin Staff. There, the staff of What Pumpkin will be able to share some of the great MSPA artwork they come across. They might also reblog other MSPA-related posts, but it will almost entirely be about your art.
The main What Pumpkin Tumblr will remain strictly about updates regarding the store and any projects we may be working on. Follow both of our Tumblrs, or just one. This way, it’ll be easy for you to get the kind of What Pumpkin content you want.
Thanks, and go check it out!
