Project 1: Digital Images

Introduction and Learning Objectives:

In this image, students will be learning about parts of a shoe. Learning Objective: Students will be able to identify parts of a shoe when given an example.

Techniques

Basic Raster Techniques: Change image size, Rotate image, Apply basic adjustment layer techniques, subtract from the selection using the lasso tool

More Advanced Raster Techniques: Use an overlay to fine-tune a selection, remove small objects, add objects by cloning, remove a large object

Basic Vector Techniques: Create simple lines, combine shapes, format text

More Advanced Vector Techniques: Recolor artwork, reshape text, edit paths and shapes

Design Elements

C: The contrast between the white, blue and my images go well together to highlight the information I provided.

R: I repeat the same style of text, font and format to help keep a steady flow throughout the project.

A: I believe the alignment overall is very well done with the text and images being centered/aligned with each other to make it aesthetically pleasing.

P: The proximity of the text and images allow for the text to go well with the images and act as supplementary rather than taking up the entire space.

Reflection

Overall, for this being my very first project, I don't believe it was overly bad and enjoyed messing around with the images and editing software.
