I remember reading about this like last year, and basically rich peoples private ponds are having wild otters come in and eating their million dollar koi fish, so it actually has made them more popular with many of the working class in Singapore who already admired the otters, so its sort of similar to those capybara in Argentina

Hi Steve, congrats on the Kickstarter! I backed you and am looking forward to getting my hands on the physical book. This will be my introduction to your work as I haven't read anything else from you. I was also specifically interested in your art because I see some similarities in my own artwork... I did a story for "Waterlogged" and "Epic Canadiana 2". I am heavily influenced by Euro comics such as Asterix & Lucky Luke... what has been your inspiration?
Thank you so much! I’m excited to get this book out into the real world. As for influences, I really enjoy Lewis Trondheim, Joann Sfar, Christoph Blain and Kerascoët. Régis Loisel did a Mickey Mouse tribute book called Café Zombo, which I referred to for my colour palette when coloring the book. I also really love the French cartoonist Yoann, who inspired me to experiment with the painting style I used for chapter headings and the cover.

Used to live in Chemainus? Remember Todd, Darrin, Cyrano? Finished rewriting that novel that I started so many years ago. Sent you a link, I can email you your old illustrations if you like too.
Todd? Yeah, I remember Chemainus. Thanks for sending me the novel. I'll check it out!
