last post re : my general blog overhaul, i promise, but —— i decided to put up a connections page for fred, except because fred ( THANKFULLY ) has a lot of important people throughout her verses, i’m getting lost figuring out who i should add. below the cut is a list of characters i’m already adding, but i avoided adding most connections that have been plotted recently or just that haven’t been plotted enough for me to be certain the mun is okay with me adding them. so if you would like me to add your muse [ ONLY if we have a plotted / established connection already ] like this post and feel free to send me a preferred screencap as well ! check below if your muse is already listed, if not please don’t think i ignored you, i’m simply trying to figure everything out ♥

ANOTHER PSA ( I KNOW. )  this time it’s two for the price of one —— first, because i have been stressing about this all day and that is frankly no way to pass a tuesday, i will be turning anon off: please send me a message off anon if you’d like to discuss anything at all. secondly, i’ll be archiving this blog and moving everything to a new, cleaner one. i’ll of course be following everyone who liked this post + everyone who’s a partner ic / ooc already, but as soon as i make it i’ll make a post on here too so you get the chance to follow or not. this is probably gonna happen in the next few days as i wanna finish working on fred’s carrd first, so there isn’t going to be a blatant change right away. all threads will be carried over, although i will be dropping my inbox.

LIKE IF YOU’D LIKE TO REMAIN MUTUALS. i’m gonna clean my follow list in the next few days, so i’ll most likely soft block blogs i haven’t interacted lately - it’s nothing personal of course, i’m just a little exhausted by my dash right now. so unless we’ve had any sort of ic / ooc interaction in the last month or so, please like this post as a sign you would like to stick around !

to the anon in my inbox — hi ! i appreciate you coming to me with this issue, and i do understand your concern. however i believe you’ve misunderstood the premise of my character. i am aware of ‘ sex work ‘ being the preferred term for sex workers, but my understanding from the material i’ve read is that sex work is a valid form of work of a willing nature, while fred clearly isn’t — she isn’t a sex worker, she is a victim of coercion and abuse and she is forced into selling herself. while sex workers are absolutely 100% valid, there also are realities in which sex work isn’t a choice — read : human trafficking, coercion, abuse. fred’s experience is much more similar to human trafficking than sex work, however i was hesitant on using the former term as it generally relates to a form of abuse targetting minorities, and i didn’t deem it fair to associate fred’s experience, who was less traumatizing than what i’ve read about trafficking, to theirs. therefore if you have a better term i should use i am all ears, but fred’s experience was not, nor can ever be considered, sex work. i would also please like you to note that whenever i mention prostitution on my blog, it is accompanied by the adjective ‘ forced ’, in order to mark a difference between “ prostitution ” as an outdated term and “ forced prostitution ” as someone forcing someone else into sexual favors.
