It was really awesome to be back in the winners circle at yesterday’s first annual Stiffie warehouse rectangle track moto-x race. The father and daughter duo of myself and my 11 year old took first place out of a 1 team gate. Taking a moment to remember the “why” of it all was priceless. Mr. @willoh216 will hopefully be proud to see his former Team Stiffie 1998 Suzuki RM125 (authentic race bike) finally in the building. It has been dropped off with @mark_easley for a carb clean and once over. This bike is all there and will eventually be stripped down and rebuilt for our new showroom. It took years to track this down and it turns out the bike was sitting right in our own backyard all this time. It has been chillin’ with our longtime friends at GT Graphics in Simi Valley. We completely forgot we sold one of the last remaining race bikes to Ted (owner of GT) way back in 1999. It sat in his warehouse, mostly never ridden. We need a seat cover, tank/shroud graphics, preprinted number backgrounds and some black @rk_excel rims to make it look authentic. The motor is still strong and rips. That much we know.
