Revelator Marinette Salt Prompt: Déjà Vu

(This episode pissed me off bad)

So the episode plays out the exact same way as before (Alya finds out Marinette's secret -> Alya is big mad at her -> The two decide to wipe her memories for a stupid reason -> Chat wipes Alya's memory and status quo reset), but this time Alya has a little surpise in store for... herself.

See, Alya had a feeling that Marinette might not actually prepare to tell the truth anytime soon, so she wrote a journal entry about it just before she got memory wiped.

The next week, Alya reads her journal and... wait a minuet, there's 14 new entries in here??? As Alya read the mysterious new entries, she reveals to herself secrets she used to know before loosing her memories again... And again... And again...

Alya's feelings shift from confusion to anger, and then anger to horror. She confronted Marinette about this topic 7 different times, and each time she lost her memory before reminding herself by reading the journal again. And the days she lost her memory... those were the same days that Lady Noire were active instead of Ladybug.

"Don't tell Marinette," the last entry warns Alya, "she cannot be trusted anymore." The written words cause tears to fall from Alya's eyes. "You have to tell Adrien and Adrien alone the truth. About his father, and about the lies that Marinette fed him. And avoid Kagami and Felix at all costs, THEY ARE WATCHING US NOW!!!" As Alya reads that part, she quickly looks out her window and sees nothing... nothing but a single blue feather, and a red blur.

"Oh Marinette," Alya sadly says to herself, "what have you done?" The redhead sprints into her bathroom with a plan to stop this madness.

"Trixx, let's pounce! Mirage!!!"

hate when people think the only archetype possible for a male sidekick to a female protagonist is a soft boi and/or himbo. like the implication there is that the only reason a man would ever defer to a woman’s authority is if he was a bumbling idiot. love male supporting characters who are smart and strong and confident and can step up when necessary but still kind and humble enough to let someone else take the lead most of the time

IKR, in my fic adrien and alya are besties and nino and mari are besties, I think it's more balanced this way

One of the tragedies of Miraculous Ladybug is that Adrien and Alya aren't as close friends as they could be. They're both "new kids" at the start of the series. They're both massive fans of superheroes, ESPECIALLY Ladybug. They both quickly become experts in dealing with Marinette's panic spirals. Both of them think Nino is the Coolest Dude to ever Cool Dude. Let's be honest they're probably both anime addicts. They're both chaos gremlins in their own way.

But despite being apparently part of the same little social group at school, Alya and Adrien barely seem to interact without Marinette acting as a bridge. And that's sad. Let Alya and Adrien have a day where they just get to be chaotic together. It'd be so fun.
