Also I'll probably have to find somewhere in my schedule to squeeze a language class in, but i already planned everything out and i would have to end up taking 5 classes one semester if i need a language. And i really dont want to do that.

I have kind of a lot of orientation stuff to do for school and its not like i can't do it while recovering its just that i really dont want to.

Why do i need to take a chemistry placement exam for math. Not even applied math. Like what. They don't even require a chemistry class for the degree, just basically any science

I started reading Roland Betancourt's Byzantine Intersectionality because it has a chapter on transwomen, but it turns out that the book is heavily focused on transmasculinity and race in the Byzantine world.

I dunno man. I found out today that a subway sandwich is $14 now. A shitty subway footlong sandwich that isn't actually 12 inches long and is occasionally made with expired ingredients and was never a great option to start with. I ate those in high school because I was broke and at the mall a lot.

There are poke bowls in my city from a local place for $16. Super fresh fish and veg, warm rice, more than I can eat in one sitting, for the price of a sandwich and a drink at america's most mid-tier sandwich shop.

Someone in another post said (paraphrased) you used to be able to get something mediocre for cheap, but now the mediocre things cost as much as the nice things so why would you?

I feel like Pearl was never my favorite when I was younger but nowadays I guess I can really relate to finding yourself suddenly A Person after having no defined identity of your own for most of your life and then when you're a little too old to be figuring this stuff out you get really into rock music and leather jackets and kissing women and it's messy and embarrassing but it's better late than never
