Mark listened to him now. He froze when the other told him  what the other told him. The other him was a vampire and that he was a blood sucker. Even more of an opposite of the Enis vampire one he knew. “..Enis…I… Is he why.. Your wrists are… I thought..I thought..” That Vampires only went for  the neck like the one who went for him  once, but luckily he had Dodger with him and Dave.

He didn’t know what to say- At the mention of his wrist, he’d bring is other hand to it, covering the gauze instinctually.  Why did he suddenly feel a need to apologize? He didn’t understand, honestly, but he did. Maybe it was just because this looked like his Mark.

     ❝ I’m sorry. ❞

“Can’t you take a no?”  He was confused a little by this.  Or was that more something to  do with the other ‘him’.  “S-So other than you know.. what he does..is the other me.. human?”

    ❝ I can. You can’t. ❞

He’d pause at the others question. If Mark was human, things would be so, so much better. That or he’d be dead. One or the other, honestly, Enis didn’t know, but he didn’t think there was a third option.

      ❝ … He isn’t human, no.           He’s a bloodsucking          vampire.❞

“Yeah I do, he’s sparkly and very happy a LOT of the time.  Maybe a little too much.. Like you know a version of me that hurts you?”

     ❝ … Oh, that’s nice. ❞

Remember when you’d describe him like that? Sparkly from glitter, and happy all the time?

       ❝ … At least your          version of me takes          a no. ❞

He shook his head at the idea. No, no, no, he didn’t want Mark taking her blood. That- that was a big reason he kept letting Mark. Not that he… really was letting Mark, at this point. He just. . .

Mark did offer him a choice, that one time, didn’t he? His blood or Sparrow’s.

Willa just wrapped her arms around Enis, giving him a sturdy warm hug.

    ❝ … Um thank you … ❞

“I might have some bandages in my bag. Uh one second.”  He’s going to look through his bag now and finds a roll of bandages after a moment or so of rummaging.  Now he would offer to wrap the wounds  of the other himself, but he knew how much  that was sometimes not a good thing to  ask, as he rather do his own.  So he will hold out the roll of bandages to him and yet even with his previous thought  in mind is still going to offer.  “Do…do you want me to wrap it for you?”

He’ll go to grab the bandages, making sure his wrist wasn’t facing the other so the wound wasn’t visible as he grabs the bandages to get ready to put them on. Though, the other’s offer took him by surprise.

     ❝ … Um it would probably          be easier if you did, actually . . . ❞

That was true, it really would, it was difficult to do the whole thing with the bow and all with only one hand. He just hoped as he handed the bandages back and showed his self-cut wrist that Mark wouldn’t ask about the monster that he did it for.

Or, that did it to him, as Mark thought was the case.

   ❝ … Um. . . Do you have any        gauze I can borrow?❞

He’s clutching his wrist, his gauze broke while trying to retie the bow on the gauze, and so now he needed knew gauze. He really did, he couldn’t just. . . let the wound be visible.

Sparrow would be worried why he didn’t heal,  this Mark would be concerned as to what cuts so. . . on it’s own.

Mark isn't all people though. It's been awhile since he's been wanting to protect someone like he does you. He's just a little scared to admit and to what you'd think of him if you found out about what happened before he met you.

“I ran around yodeling for monsters attention after inviting a bandit into my home. I cut my wrist and gave my blood to a vampire. I asked to be eaten by a monster. If he knew about that, he’d think I was an idiot that deserved this. I can’t imagine anything he did in the past was that bad.”

Because you two would totally be even more cute together if you know what I mean. It's obvious he cares about you.

“...Right. That’s- That’s cute to imagine but- I... I don’t know about that. Care isn’t a word I’d still use to describe how people... you know, feel about me. That’s just... oneof the things I realized when I realized Monster Gulch isn’t nice.”

Oh no now he’s sad.

Enis what do you think of the Mark who doesn't hurt you. Isn't he sort of adorable? A grump but adorable isn't he?

“...Human Mark? Um... Yeah I guess...”

He’s not sure exactly how comfortable he is at the idea of honestly answering questions, especially about Mark, human or not, but he’ll still answer.

“...Why are you... asking about him?”

“I-I guess you could say that.” They were always with him. Always speaking and talking to him, always wanting him to cause pain to himself to make them go away.. 

“I’m sorry to hear that. I- I would offer you to stay with me and my Survival Buddy but- there’s... there’s a monster saying with us right now... So... Yeah...”
