are the locked tombs audiobooks good?

No, they are SUPERB. Moira Quirk is a classically trained British thespian and it shows. Every character is distinct, the accents are incredibly fun, and the elaborate names and ten-dollar words just roll off her tongue. She's an excellent match for Muir's beautiful prose and I highly recommend them for a reread (or first read). The narration adds a different dimension--especially for the action scenes.

all goofing aside I genuinely don't understand the urge to reimagine Taylor Allison Swift as a secretly queer icon when the pop music scene(TM) is like. literally overflowing with women who actually like women. Gaga and Kesha and Miley and Halsey are right there. Rina Sawayama and Hayley Kiyoko and Rebecca Black and Kehlani and Victoria Monét and Miya Folick if you're willing to get slightly less top 100. Janelle and Demi for them nonbinary takes on liking girls. like what are we doing here. like I'm not even saying you can't enjoy Taylor but why would you hang all your little gay hopes on her.

Like yes. It definitely had some issues with ComfortUnits as a concept that it needed to work through but it's also funny to think that maybe it'd just be like that for any given "unit," regardless of function.
