hey yall, i had a sudden unexpected medical thing come up for my kitty Buddy that had the chance of being life-threatening, and i had to take him to the vet to make sure he was okay. he is thankfully going to be fine, but the cost has kind of blindsided me. i was able to cover it for now with help from a very generous and kind person who was there for me when i was scared i might lose Buddy. but now that things have settled, i would like to pay back the money that was lent to me to cover Buddy's care, and for that im going to need help

the goal is $1175 canadian dollars, which is about 860 USD as of writing this. if youre american, every dollar you send is worth 133% to the goal, and even just a dollar or two helps!

im asking for help bc i am very disabled and unable to work, and am surviving paycheck to paycheck on welfare. this amount of money is completely out of my reach to pay back on my own.

honestly fucking fascinating that people will pretty universally understand that thin people can be naturally predisposed to thinness regardless of what they eat or their activity level, but that so many of the same people cannot possibly fathom that fat people could have similar dispositions or that there could be any factors more complex than a "lack of self control."
