Another one of my evil magical people got a facelift.

She didn't look evil enough so I darkened some colours and added a bunch of ink stains.

The concept is that she did an alright job but failed to defeat the last boss, so she got corrupted by its inky darkness.

The plan was to go back to these characters after Magical March and work on them some more. So I started with dark chocolate boy, going in no particular order. Tidied the lines and colours, gave him some shading, and drew some more expressions, his transformation doodad and what he looks like normally.

He's ready to go cause trouble on purpose.

it really is crazy how quickly people were willing to just let chatgpt do everything for them. i have never even tried it. brother i don't even know if it's just a website you go to or what. i do not know where chatgpt actually lives, because i can decide my own grocery list.

Okay here's the deal, it's the last day and I'm not going to be able to draw and colour five magical girls in an hour. I'm treating the rest as concepts/WIPs I'll come back to later anyway, so for these last few, I'm just showing off earlier stage WIPs and what the vague ideas are.

27- One Dominant Colour. Kind of a blank cheque design-wise, so I wandered about and settled on this design with lots of locks, bolts and chains so the overall colour can be silver/steel.

28- Creature Of The Night. Originally I was thinking bugs or arachnids but somewhere along the line I thought, maybe owl?

29- Ancient. It's a ghost! She's got no legs. Costume needs more refinement, maybe it could fit a historical period closer.

30- Monster. It all revolves around the toothy mouth motif around the skirt and boots, with a tongue tail and some eyeballs higher up.

31- Purified. The lucky recipient is the violin girl from the start of the month. I knew she had it in her.

Every year I add another girl to expand my team of mushroom themed magical girls but this year instead I have brought forth Mushroom Killer to beat them up, sorry

This is my most NSFW character yet, because she's got loose hair near spinning saw blades and she's not wearing safety goggles.

Well, I don't know exactly what she's a deity of, but it's probably something scary!

I did not do it consciously but in a group I shared this to someone was like 'Utena inspired?' and I realised in that moment I'd somehow made her really a lot like Utena huh

Got yesterday's girl done just now. Started a rough of today's on my lunch break at work. Contemplating whether to use the last hour of the day to work on that some more or just take a break and play Gundam Breaker

I was sat there thinking 'how do I do a villainous take on light/sparkles' then I figured

You know how sometimes a person will become a magical girl to fight the forces of darkness, and the bad guys will be all "rahh hand over the fairy, don't stand in our way etc"

What if the girl is all "actually yeah ok forces of darkness you make a good pitch" and immediately switched sides

And that leads us to probably the meanest thing I've drawn that I actually feel a bit bad about. Sorry, fairy-in-a-cage. You chose poorly
