about gena: 

gena sarka is as irish as irish comes. she’s the daughter of a czech dude who originally just went to ireland on vacation, but fell in love with an irish woman and decided to leave prague behind and pursue this beautiful, very opinionated woman. they moved to dublin together and had three kids - their eldest, ailbhe (?? i think, celine help me), their middle child (and only son) declan, and the youngest, gena. 

when gena was six, they moved to london, and they haven’t left since. 

gena is, in every sense of it, the typical baby of the family. spoiled, brash, argumentative and compared to her siblings, absolutely unmotivated. ailbhe’s a lawyer (and a very good one) and declan’s a police officer who’s like, doing things with his life. 

went to cambridge and got a degree in english literature, but right now, she works as a cashier in a convenience store and deals drugs on the side. feels very stuck with where she is in life right now and doesn’t like it? but is wholly unwilling to change anything about it. 

we love a queen with cLiNiCaL dEpRrEsSiOn!  has been actually diagnosed with it but likes to pretend absolutely nothing is wrong - which manifests in her isolating and/or engaging in really unhealthy/risky behavior.

please excuse the random af image tbh. but. this is a request for luna’s FOUND FAMILY~~ aka just a really close group of friends that’ve stuck together since they were kids.

basically they all grew up ~in the system, bouncing from foster home to foster home and somewhere along the line they formed a close knit little group. whether they were in homes together or introduced through friends of friends they’ve all stuck together growing up~ they basically made a family when they didn’t have a stable one of their own.

i imagine that they’re a real ragtag bunch tbh and they all have different personalities and, honestly, if they all met these days who knows if they’d even be friends but they’ve BEEN THROUGH A LOT together and they’ll always have one another’s backs? 

some of them made a real go at making something of their lives, like luna, and i imagine some others sort of followed down the stereotypical rough path aka: crime & drugs etc. etc. luna was actually in a car accident with one of them a few months ago because they basically used her as a ~getaway car~ and she was like HELL NO WE ARE GOING TO THE POLICE and it was just… a nightmare. so if u want to make that person pls hmu bc DRAMA. (with luna and her husband joe, who’s in the group as welll~)

okay hi here’s another request for a shifty af friend group! they’re all young and dumb (and broke, u guessed it) and they’re all shady as fuck. none of them grew up together, but they all love to part and somewhere along the grapevine they all came together.

they’re terrible and messy - half of them have slept with each other, the other half kind of hate the other half and no one understands how they’re still functional (and they’re not, not really) but they’d all kill for each other.

raptors is an up and coming all-dude indie rock band formed about one and a half years ago (sounds like foals). the band came together in their early days as a fun hobby, something to do on the side - they performed in grungy bars and underground clubs every weekend (lbr, they probably did a lot of dumb covers includin smash mouth). aesthetic: late nights spent getting drunker and drunker trying to put together their next song but finding it all jumble up in the end. until the next morning they come up with the most brilliant lyrics in the midst of their hangovers.they put out their first single as a joke - none of them remembered sending it to a record label or the radio until a few weeks down the track when they heard their own song on the radio? from there, it’s been a whirlwind journey and a half: they sign their first recording contract and are currently recording their first album. their single is still on the charts and did pretty well internationally. regardless, they’ve been spending more and more time together, building towards the ultimate goal of making it in the highly competitive music business. they’re family and get up to dumb shit together. over the past three months, they’ve been assigned a band manager by their record label who just ??? at how unlucky he got to get a band that takes themselves not seriously at all. please hit me up on discord if you’d like to chat about it etc analese#2737

very close to her family: she’s an only child, but has about fourteen million cousins, so she’s always felt very surrounded by love and the like. she’s definitely on the quieter side in comparison to most of her family, but she loves them anyways. 

currently attends university college london as a graduate student studying ancient history and works at a small coffee shop. she’s smart, but the kind of smart where it’s not natural or effortless: she studies super hard, and it’s not unusual to find her falling asleep with her face smushed into a textbook.

vibrant and bright! can be loud, but only for short amounts of time - gets burnt out in social situations really easily and then gets suuuper irritable. 

loves wearing heels, is terrible at walking in them?? 

newly rich and VERY uncomfortable with the fact that she (or her family, rather) has money now. still balks at the thought of paying £9 for a cold pressed juice.
