I think when Qui invited them over, it was the beginning of the plan to separate He Tian (cause that was random to me) Qui was probably responsible for bringing all the boys to the estate whether they burned his house down or not lol. I think they would’ve sent the other three home and kept He Tian under the pretense of needing to talk to He Cheng or his father. And then poof. Gone

Anyone else feel like there’s a missing chapter? That came out of NOWHERE. Like zero transition.

i’m scared for season three…

(the bear season two spoilers below)

ok i’ve seen someone talk about this and the more i thought about it, i could definitely see sydney’s health being brought up in season three (hell, might even be one of the central plot points)…

so we know how sydney’s mom died of lupus, meaning that the disease runs throughout the family.

in season one, we see sydney’s medicine cabinet basically be filled to the brim

then in season two, we see at the end of how she starts to not feel well, exhibiting some of those symptoms (not being able to breathe, repeatedly throwing up, etc.).

and she is older than her mother now…

now, im not saying something fatal is going to happen to her, but i can see her having to be hospitalized for a good bit. (i also kinda feel like marcus’ mother being in the hospital could be seen as foreshadowing this)

because of her being dedicated to the new restaurant, wanting to get a michelin star, and taking on a new leadership role, i can see her possibly forgetting to take her meds and with that being combined to the new level of stress she’s gonna be dealing with… yea, im worried for my girl

i feel like there’s going to be a huge scare that both we (the audience) and everyone working at the bear are going to feel because we don’t know what syd’s hospitalization could entail for her future, the restaurant’s, or anyone else’s.

her dad would have to go through another scary, heartbreaking time and go through the fear of losing someone else dear to him. and on top of that, she’s the only family he has left (as i far as i remember).

everybody at the bear would feel a massive loss if she were to be hospitalized. especially carmy. carmy wouldn’t know what to do without his partner (and after admitting to her that he couldn’t do this without her, ughh gut-wrenching).

i feel like loss, the idea of it, and how things aren’t for granted are going to be some themes that are heavilyyy explored in the next season with not only marcus possibly having to deal with the loss of his mother, but everyone having to deal with the fear of losing sydney.

I’ve been thinking about Jian Yi confronting She Li in place of He Tian. thinking about all the times Guan Shan has cooked for everyone. thinking about Jian Yi and Zheng Xi going to the temple to get a protective charm for Guan Shan. thinking about He Tian carrying Jian Yi to the emergency clinic. thinking about Zheng Xi pulling Guan Shan to safety during the landslide. thinking about Jian Yi calling Guan Shan about a free guitar because he knew he would like one. thinking about He Tian helping Jian Yi skip school. thinking about them defending Guan Shan from She Li’s SA accusations. thinking about Zheng Xi pretending to ignore He Tian’s call in his brother’s car. thinking about Jian Yi proudly telling the entire school that Guan Shan tried to answer a question in class. thinking about all of them getting into a food fight. thinking about all of them crowding under one umbrella. thinking about them running from Qiu. thinking about them going grocery shopping together. thinking about them visiting each other in the hospital. thinking about them playing basketball. thinking about them getting boba. thinking about them texting in the group chat. thinking about them scaring & pranking each other. thinking about them going hiking and picnicking. thinking about them putting on a last-minute play. thinking about them making plans to form a band.

I want He Tian to pick Mo back up and Mo to tuck his head into the crook of tian’s neck in embarrassment and he’s whining w/ tears welling up while saying profanity’s to He Tian and He Tian is giving Mo a bunch of quick and light kisses all over his face like “I’m sorry I’m sorry I’m sorry Momo it’s okay I covered you now we can go get cleaned I’m sorry okay”? And all while He Cheng is still standing watching and just piecing together the obvious.
