Beautifully written, a very strong and powerful song. I wish USA radio would pick up on plenty of new music by older bands/groups/solo artists. This whole ageism crap is 100% pure Bullshit. Some of these older artists have put out some of their greatest work, yet it goes unnoticed. When I 1st heard the song “Life”, is gave my chills, goosebumps and I had tears in my eyes. Trying to understand the lyrics to a CC & George song is very hard and confusing, if not impossible. I personal feel the song’s about George and having a 2nd go at Fame.(Mind you- he never left, he was working on plenty of projects. It’s just that the US aren’t always welcoming and polite or it’s that the tennagers/ young people of today have no real taste in music or try follow the trends). Ok so back to this song, If George wrote it about himself, I then feel he’s saying he’s Thankful and Grateful to his Fans. Yes, us fans that have been there since the beginning.1982... I take the lyrics personally because I’m Thankful and Grateful to those people that are in my Life. My Blood Family, my Family of Great Friends, the many acquaintances and the stranger’s that have crossed paths with my “Life”. Always remember #Love + #Hope + #Faith = #LIFE
