AU where Eddie takes his dog to the dog park almost every day being he saw a hot guy there once and is trying to manufacture a meet cute.
He actually succeeds in striking up a conversation with Hot Guy. His name is Steve and heās there with Dustin. Eddie tells him about his own pup, Zeppelin.
Theyāre talking about the black eye Steve got at work last week when Eddie jokingly flirts that he could take him in a fight. Steve looks like heās going to flirt back when a loud voice from his left pipes up like, āYou could definitely take him in a fight. Everybody can. He gets beat up all the time.ā
āI donāt get beat up all the time,ā Steve scoffs, voice flipping from his soft spoken flirting to that of an annoyed older brother. He glared at the kid that appeared next to him, āI thought you were looking for rocks. Go find rocks.ā
āI did,ā The kid says, nonplussed about the tone being directed at him. āYou want one? So you can defend yourself when you get beat up again.ā
Eddie hides a smile when Steve looks every bit as annoyed as he is. The kid smiles at him, āThis one looks like a tomahawk. Want it?ā
āYeah, Iāll take it,ā Steve eventually says. He waves a hand at this kid like, āThis is Dustin. Bane of my existence.ā
āI thought you were a dog,ā Eddie admits, accepting the rock the kid gives him.
āYeah, he does that on purpose.ā

18+ MINORS DNI
Eddie thinks it would be a super fun idea to hook up in the photo booth at an event.
He's like but I can then carry these pictures around and look at them when I miss you š„ŗ
So he's got your nipple in his mouth and it's pretty hot and you stumble out of the photo booth like you've just been ravaged - covered in hickeys.
To find the photos ready to take from the slot only to realise with mounting horror that the big screen on the side is broadcasting the photos.
And even worse, they're like mini videos.

Steve Harrington sat in the lawyer's office, his eyes fixed on the divorce papers in front of him. He couldn't believe it had come to this. He had tried everything to save his marriage counseling, romantic getaways, and countless late night conversations. But in the end, it wasn't enough.
His wife, her voice trembling, had admitted to being in love with someone else. The words had cut deep, leaving Steve feeling hollow and defeated.
As they left the lawyer's office, Steve's wife turned to him, her eyes filled with a mix of sadness and guilt. "I hope you have a good life, Steve," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Steve nodded, unable to speak. He watched as she walked away, feeling a chapter of his life close behind her.
Steve trudged into his mom's small apartment, feeling defeated. The divorce had left him with nothing no house, no assets, and barely any dignity. His wife, Shelly, had been the breadwinner, and Steve's lack of financial contribution had been a major point of tension in their marriage.
To make matters worse, Steve had lost his job at his dad's firm a year ago. His dad had claimed he was slacking off, but Steve knew that wasn't true. He had been a hard worker, but his dad had always been tough on him.
Now, with no job and no wife, Steve was forced to move back in with his mom. He felt like a failure, and the cramped apartment only seemed to underscore his reduced circumstances.
As he dropped his bags onto the floor, his mom enveloped him in a warm hug. "Don't worry, sweetie," she said. "You'll get back on your feet. And besides, I never liked Shelly anyway."
Steve raised an eyebrow, surprised his mom always seemed to like her. "You didn't?" he asked confused.
His mom shook her head. "No, I didn't. She was always so... critical. I'm glad you're rid of her."
One evening, as Steve was rummaging through the fridge for leftovers, his mom sat down at the kitchen table, a faraway look in her eyes. "You know, Steve, I was just thinking about when you were a kid," she said, a nostalgic smile spreading across her face.
Steve closed the fridge door, intrigued. "What about it?"
His mom's eyes sparkled. "Remember Eddie?"
Steve's brow furrowed. Eddie? The name sounded familiar, but he couldn't quite place it.
And then, like a floodgate opening, memories came rushing back. Eddie, his imaginary friend from childhood. The one who had been his constant companion, his confidant, his partner in adventure.
Steve's eyes widened as he stared at his mom. "Eddie?" he repeated, his voice barely above a whisper.
His mom nodded. "Yes, Eddie! You used to talk about him all the time. You'd play with him, have conversations with him... you were so convinced he was real."
Steve's mind reeled as he tried to process the memories that were suddenly surfacing. He had forgotten all about Eddie, but now it seemed like just yesterday that they were inseparable.
Steve's memories , transporting him to a tumultuous time in his childhood. His parents' fights before the divorce were constant, with plates shattering and chairs crashing to the floor. But amidst the chaos, Eddie had been his rock.
Eddie would sit with him, holding his hand, and whisper reassuring words. "It's okay," he'd say, as he put on Steve's favorite record. The music would drown out the noise, creating a sense of calm in the midst of chaos.
Eddie had been more than just an imaginary friend he'd been Steve's confidant, his partner in adventure, and his best friend. They'd done everything together, from exploring the neighborhood to playing make believe.
Steve had even taken Eddie to school, where his teacher would often ask him who he was talking to. Steve's response was always the same: "Eddie." His parents would receive concerns from the teacher during parent teacher conferences, and they'd sit Steve down, urging him to quit pretending Eddie was real. His dad would go one step further and ground him anytime he mentioned his name.
But Steve knew the truth Eddie was real, at least to him. He remembered the way Eddie's eyes sparkled when he laughed, the way his voice sounded when he sang along to their favorite songs. His stories of he would read to him.
As Steve reminisced, a bittersweet smile spread across his face. He couldnāt believe he forgotten about Eddie
Later Steve winced as he applied ice to his throbbing eye, the result of intervening in a fight between a belligerent man and a frightened woman. He settled onto the couch, flipping through TV channels to distract himself from the pain.
As he scrolled, he heard a voice behind him.
"Ouch, that looks like it hurts."
Steve's head jerked around, and he let out a startled yelp. "Who the hell are you? How did you get in?"
The man standing before him looked eerily familiar, but Steve couldn't quite place him. The stranger's eyes, however, seemed to hold a deep sadness, and his voice was tinged with hurt.
"You don't remember me, Stevie?" he asked, his tone laced with a mix of disappointment and longing.
Steve's mind racing, he examine the stranger's face, and suddenly, memories came flooding back.
"Eddie?" Steve whispered, his voice trembling with a mix of shock and wonder.
"In the flesh," Eddie said with a cheeky grin, plopping himself down on the couch beside Steve. He snatched the TV controller from Steve's hand, his eyes scanning the channels before landing on some cartoon with wizards.
"Ah, thatās more like it," Eddie said, settling in as if he owned the place. "You know, Stevie, I see you're still getting into fights. Some things never change, huh?"
Side note so basically Eddie shows up in a difficult time of Steveās life and tries to help him through it, even helping him become friends again with Robin and others. And tryās to help him with his confidence and Steve is crushing on Eddie like he he thinks heās attractive. When Eddie goes to a bar with him a women is flirting with him and Eddieās upset but covers it trying to get Steve to talk but Steveās not even interested because he has feelings for Eddie but does it when Eddie tells him to. He goes home and Eddieās not there and heās worried heās upset but the next night Eddie asks how was it . And Steveās like he didnāt even go home with her. And they kind of admit their feelings to each other. Iām thinking in the end though Eddie at this book store and Steve goes up to him and is like Eddie I thought you were waiting at home and Eddieās confused like Steve I thought I would never see you again and Steveās like what and heās like yeah I havenāt seen you in awhile. And turns out they both are each other imaginary friends.

Was kinda reflecting on baby fever as a trans guy, and I just...
Trans Steve getting baby fever. Just incredible baby fever. He's not actively trying to get pregnant, nothing like thatāone, he's a little dysphoric at the idea, two, he's not prepared for that. at. all.
He'd known since forever that he wanted to be a parent in some capacity. Growing up with a baby doll, changing its outfits, sleeping with it tucked under the blanket with him, reading bedtime stories to it. He held some of his cousins when they were little babies, and the pure excitement that he got to hold such little life just beams right through him.
He just wants a baby of his own. So ridiculously bad. Loves hearing their laughter, their squeals. Imagines being a better dad than his own. Watching cartoons and eating cereal on Saturday morning. Taking them to the park and pushing them on the swing. Just being a dad.
It's one of his biggest dreams, becoming a parent. It's one he expresses so passionately, so dearly with Eddie. And Eddie promises that he'll give that dream to Steve, when it's time and however he wants to do it. Even if they have to wait a little while. Get a surrogate. Adopt. Whatever they have to do.
I don't know. I just feel like Steve would have insane baby fever. Just every time he sees a cute baby at the grocery store, he's immediately turning to Eddie and going, "I want a baby. I think I need to be a dad right now." He's almost feral with the need.
And he frequently gets those dreams where he has a baby of his own. They make him cry when he wakes up.
He gets really sad over it sometimes, too. That he can't have that dream or that future right now. That it's something that needs to wait. It needs to be something he'll be ready for no matter what.
He'd be the sappiest dad, too. Guaranteed. He wants to be a part of his kid's life every step of the wayāand you can bet your ass that he's bursting into happy tears at every little thing.
Anyway.

Robin was just trying to have a normal ass conversation, but Steveās eyes kept flicking behind her. Robin sighs, a āwhat are you looking atā halfway out of her mouth before she turns around to see what he is looking at.
Behind her is EDDIE MUNSONās ASS.
Heās leaned over and looking at a low shelf. His legs spread putting him in a yoga-esque pose.
She turns back to Steve, mildly horrified.
āIf you want to be the straight man you say you are, stop checking out Eddieās ass!ā Robin whisper yells at him.
āItās in my face!ā Steve justifies.
āHeās six feet away from you!ā
āItās like a car crash, I canāt look away!ā Steve responds, still looking over her shoulder.
āI believe that you know your identity and I trust you, but this is pretty fucking gay.ā
āIām not!ā
āThen stop acting like you wanna unclog Eddieās pipes!ā Robin complains.
Steve froze, face rapidly reddening.
āStop thinking about it! Have your weird sex fantasies elsewhere!ā Robin squeaked.
āWeird sex fantasies?ā Eddieās distinct voice questions over her shoulder. Robin immediately tenses in response.
Both Steve and Robin stare at each other, encouraging the other to respond.
āWell since nobody wants to respond Iām going to start guessingā¦hmm is it Martha over there. Steve I think sheās too old for you, sheās like 90.ā
Steve flushes even more somehow.
Robin proclaims āIām taking my breakā and storms back to the employee room.
In IRL I offered to get the guy a rubber band to snap at his wrist whenever he does this gay ass shit.

AU where Robin keeps trying to set Eddie up with āa guy she works withā (Steve), but Eddieās driven by Family Videos before and heās seen the guy she works with. And just, no. Thats not his type.
He saw Keith.
He thinks Robin is trying to set him up with Keith.
At the same time, half of Garethās job at the Arcade is being stuck in conversations with Steve Harrington when he brings his brother(?) in. Steveās always lamenting whatever shitty date he just want on and how he wants to find the one.
Gareth suggests Steve ask out his friend (Eddie). He works at the bowling alley so Steve can find him there. After another shitty date, Steve goes to the bowling alley and no. Nope. No way.
You know who Steve sees behind the shoe rental? Keith.
He thinks Gareth is trying to set him up with Keith, too.
#robin and gareth: (banging their head against a brick wall because their friends are stupid)#the irony is that eddieās been harboring a crush on steve since the dawn of time#and steve has twice used eddie as an example of āhis type of guyā#<- YEAH#steve harrington#eddie munson#robin buckley#gareth stranger things#steddie#steddie imagine#platonic stobin
