Please, and I know it's a weird ask, but please, stop worrying about Gwynriel. It only exists in Power Point presentations. If you need to create a Power Point to justify or prove your ship, you know it doesn't exist.

I've read through this scene about a million times and my heart always races at this interaction.

I don't really like how Azriel turned out but oh well😭

I found a new parallels and I've been totally screaming ever since I read it!!!!!

Okay, this is Nessian from chapter 22 of ACOSF. Cassian is waiting for Nesta's approval to make a move. And when Nesta says 'Yes' to him, he takes action.

And coincidentally, almost the same scene happens in the Az’s POV.

Both bat boys wait for the Archeron girls to say 'Yes', needing their approval. They don't hesitate to act when they get permission.

ENDGAME MATERİAL!

I knew Elriel was endgame the moment Azriel volunteered to save Elain from Hybern.

Because arguably, if anyone other than Feyre was going to join the mission to save her, it should have been Rhysand. Elain is his literal sister-in-law, a person extremely special to his mate, and someone he should consider family.

But who goes charging off into the night on a suicide mission?

Azriel.

On orders from Rhysand?

Nope.

Because Elain and him were already a couple?

Nope.

She literally walked away from camp to go find her fiancé. Azriel was just a friend… someone new she had met in the faerie world. They arguably had very few moments together at all, and Azriel is out there risking his life for her.

And is that just something he does?

Not really. Our man’s didn’t give two craps when the Valkyrie’s got sucked into the Rite.

But in ACOWAR, Azriel would have rather died trying to save her than let her go.

And they weren’t even a couple yet!!!

This man has done more for Elain than anyone else who is *cough cough* wondering if she is even WORTH fighting for, and that is why he is most definitely pissed off about who “deserves” to be with Elain. Because he’s right: if anyone deserves a chance to win her heart, it’s HIM. He actually cares about her and has proven it, over and over again.

And their book is gonna be so fucking good because of this foundation.

I don’t think I’ll ever get over what Sarah did to Cassian in acosf especially with her admitting in that interview that she didn’t know what to do with him. Acosf was just one big mistake. The series should’ve ended with acowar. I almost don’t want her to write Rhysand’s or Azriel pov. We learned nothing about cassian. He didn’t have any development. He was just there for sex. Nothing about his past, being a general, fifty years of Rhysand being gone, his work with the Illyrians, his family, mom, trauma. absolutely nothing

Just sitting here thinking about how Azriel admits he kept the headache tonic "just to stare at", which means by the time he received it he was already down bad enough for Elain to add that type of sentimentality.... to...headache tonic.
