look. i came back here because i finally thought i was able to look at this comic again, because for all that happened i love this comic! but i cant. i just cant be expected to stay and deal with this shit now.

believe me i tried. but its not exactly easy to ignore when half the fucking fandom hates you and doesnt even have the good grace to be HONEST about it.

i used to love it here! i’ve been here since i was like 9. watching from the sidelines, seeing all these people who i’d admired over the years and it was a distraction from shitty things going on in my life. barely any of those people are here now, and it’s hardly a question of why.

i have no clue what the fuck’s happened in the past year but this fandom has become a toxic shithole that honestly serves no purpose than to make so many people miserable. myself included. im not going to pretend i’ve been a saint or some shit because i’m not, but fucking hell this place has devolved into a cesspool of absolute twats.

i came back what? two days ago? and it’s really not subtle, not one bit. its petty at absolute best. its completely alienating and downright cruel at worst. and what am i meant to do about it? ignore it when it’s 90% of the fucking fandom because half of it’s broken off into some little clique? and sure as hell TALKING didn’t work because yeah sure, i’m just magically going to be able to convince myself that things aimed specifically at myself for an event i’ve tried to leave behind me aren’t my fault. because that’s apparently how this works.

im tired. im so fucking tired of this. i came back because i love this comic but the fandom really does a quick job of killing that huh! i would want nothing else than to just post my art and move the fuck on, but no. can’t even have that, apparently.

look. im leaving. im not coming back to this blog ever because i cant stand it. cant move blogs because the fandom’s too small, cant do ANYTHING because somehow its gonna be my fault anyway isnt it?

stop pretending to care about what i have to post when i know you fucking hate me. if youre gonna pretend its subtle then dont. because its obvious to everyone with eyes. we’re not stupid.
