"I.." Berry trailed off, but she finally relaxed. She laid against her and closed her eyes hesitantly, before finally calling asleep in her arms, the vines withering away with each soft breath.

"But I.." she dozed off a little, but she blinked herself awake. She wrapped her arms around her, her tail wagging as she kissed her cheek.

"Nuh-uh, what if they bite you?.." she mumbled. "What if there's a fire, or another hunter or-or you disappear or something–" She rambled, vines growing around the cave as she continued.

"Didn't have to." She smiled, placing her hand on his cheek.

Sigh.

She closed her eyes and leaned in, pressing a kiss to his lips. She slowly pulled away, her eyes shining with affection and gratitude. She spoke with her tired voice, yet it was filled with love.

"I love you."

His steps are fast,close together

"berry!where are you?!", he calls out, his voice filled with fear

He needs to find her, he can't lose her

She somehow heard his voice, even with the ringing and the completely black vision.

"Ra– Ra..-!" She sobbed. She wanted to be found. Even if her body gave out on her before that.
