The most implausible thing about My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic isn’t the magic talking horses, it’s the notion that a graduate student, a professional athlete and a small business owner would be able to coordinate their schedules well enough to hang out on a regular basis.

it’s more so depending on the protagonist. If they are or are the equivalent of one or more minorities, absolutely insert them in. Otherwise it has to be written in a way that isn’t cluttering to the plot or feels like it was slapped on for monetary value

I think Percy is fairly well built and muscled in canon because he’s a fighter and he’s carrying around all these big guns and all. But I don’t think Percy naturally would be as fit and muscled as he is. He wants to hide away in his workshop. I deffo imagine Percy as he gets older gets a little softer and less toned.

But anyway modern AU Percy, unless he has a background pretty similar to canon where being muscled is needed for survival, would be a twig bitch. I cannot imagine him willingly going to a gym when he could be doing literally anything else.

Tary? He’s a nerd who I could see going to a gym to look good. Percy wouldn’t give a shit.

2 slight variations of him!

-one has silver detailing and a coat with more of a tail, in addition to blue pants and long gloves. His waistcoat also seems striped!

-the other has a coat that has fur lining the innards of it, with the sleeves rolled up a bit revealing it before reaching his gloves.

-thigh high boots :3

-both have a side holster for the list and have hair that slightly curls.
