Small rant on the new demo update for Touchstarved

Before I get into it, I'd like to state that I find the writing beautiful and love the game alot, these are just some of my opinions. 🙂‍↕️

MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD

There were a few changes that felt quite.. unnecessary??? Such as the role change. To me personally, it felt underwhelming and wasn't a needed change since they aren't really that different if you deep it.

There's also a few contradictions in the game, such as when Mhin explains they were born and raised in Eridia, but the rest of the cast goes on as if they're still an outsider(specifically Kuras). Plus, I feel that them being an outsider added that tinge to their personality, but of course, everyone can have a different judgement on that.

AND ALSO THE NAME CHANGE FOR THE BLOODHOUNDS

It's lowkey not that deep but it just feels out of place

I like how they've leaned into the manipulative Leander route though. Grown ass man pouting when you don't believe him😭
