"STUDENT- DANCE ATHLETE"

I am a student but I am also a dancer. Everyone see me as a confident girly, but they don't know that in every performance, Every participations in class, I am very shy and pressured at the same time.

When I first went to college, I took the course Bachelor of science in Electrical engineering(I actually want to take Civil Engineering but there is no slot available), and as you can see in the picture, I am taking a selfie together with the plates that I draw when I was still in EVSU. Behind those smile is a girl who is depressed and pressured in life and don't know what to do 'cause I can't see any future in that course. Actually, Engineering is one of my top choices in college but when I actually took the course, I was devastated for 5months and thinking about shifting course. I even stopped dancing just for that course. Long story short, I shifted course and I was disappointed with myself at first but little by little, I am starting to love the decision that I choose.

Studies and dancing is actually hard to balance. Not all teachers accept excuses about dance competitions and it is very disappointing because some people see dancing(Hiphop) is not a sport because they thought that our training is light but it is actually hard.

Studying and Dancing is hard to balance because based on my own experience, I stopped dancing because of my studies, It was hard especially when my parents are also against my passion for dance because there was one time that I did bad at school which is I am not actually bad at my studies but then suddenly I was very drained that time and I don't have any energy to do my schoolworks and that's why I stopped dancing for like almost a year.

Despite all the struggles I am still beyond grateful because from Engineering to Tourism, it is actually not bad of a decision because today, I have achieved a lot of things despite all the hardships that I have faced. I am so proud of myself also because I now know how to balance my time between dance and studying. I won lots of competitions worldwide together with mg team, I even went to singapore to represent the Philippines and we actually won 2nd place. I realized that all my decisions has a purpose.

I am a successful dance athlete and I am proud of it.

Yesterday's basketball league was interesting. I am not familiar with their faces but they play well. It is very exciting since I have witnessed new faces playing basketball and it was also a great experience as a Tourism student since after the game, I have interviewed one of the winners yesterday. Although some of the players don't want to get interviewed because some of them are shy, I am happy that this one player offered to be interviewed.

"My best Childhood memory"

When I was 6yrs old, We went to cebu to visit my relatives (Father side) and me and my brother had a great time roaming around cebu city because my Aunt and his Husband is having a prenup photoshoot for their upcoming wedding. We played, we laugh, sleep and we have done a lot of things back then.

When we got home, me and my brother drank a choco drink and we also played a lot of games like step dances and hide n seek. Afterwards, we ate a lot and our father helped us because we are not that skilled enought to use a spoon and fork. We also played psp's and watch lots of cartoon movies.

That was the best memory and unforgettable memory I had when I was a little kid, I get to spend time with my family, Especially with my brother (we are not that close and because of that, we became closer). I love my life because even though my childhood is not that fun, I still have memories to dig into when I get old.
