people who go on about other people's interpretation of stray characters being "wrong" are so annoying because for the vast majority of characters we get less than 5 lines of dialogue and a lot of it doesn't tell us anything about the character so of course people have to stuff their fan content with headcanons to fill in the blanks and instead of complaining people should channel that energy into making the fanworks they want to see in the world

As much as I myself feel that Seacob (Jacob and Seamus) doesn't make sense to some extent, I love that their relationship is widely interpretable. Are they friends? Sure. They're not friends? It works too. Are they in a one-sided relationship? Sounds great. I like to think that Seamus is more than just a grieving character.

To follow up the confession on Clementine. I'm not trying to make her as a sweet, innocent character, obviously she is a badass but it only seems like people can't really balance her with giving her actual personality traits but instead write her into the really lazy written feminist protagonist you see on some really shit Netflix show

Everyone seems to reduce Seamus's character to just two personalities; being an alcoholic or hating Momo. (especially if we are talking about him in scenarios involving Docmo, where it’s just often most of the time “ewww gay”)

Seamus is grieving the loss of his father, which understandably is going to him more closed up and dismissive to others but oh my god it only seems like people only make his personality being edgy or immediately pair him with someone like Jacob. 😐

I’m going to get carried away.

I've seen so many characterizations of Clementine as a reckless and selfish person who only cares about going outside and enjoys punching things, which I find really stupid. The instances where we see Clementine act aggressively only happen when she is trying to escape because she is WANTED. and is possibly going to face a reboot—a death sentence to companions. She’s not going to be cautious about gently breaking into a room or stealing a car to get out of jail. And people always make Clem the bad guy when it comes to her friendship with Momo. It’s always poor “baby Momo” because Clementine was being mean and didn't care about his feelings when she left the slums....Clementine had said in the game that she wrote in the Outsiders' manifesto, "We must go Outside at any cost." Momo was aware of this. He understood that Clementine would go to the outside, that doesn't mean Momo doesn't have the right to feel upset that all of his friends left, it is frustrating how people paint Clementine as a selfish and vile person when she had already made her intentions clear she wasn’t hiding anything……
