I feel that Cassandra has an active social media presence. She has her business account for her hair styling, of course, and a personal account where she’s - less professional, but still, she has a solid amount of followers.
liiiikkeeee if she goes live to give advice on her personal account ( which she does on a semi frequent basis, depends how busy she is or if she’s feeling opinionated ) a good amount of people come. They’re primarily in her age group though, but some younger people are there. the thing about cass is that during these livestreams she doesn’t present herself as a wise professional woman who has all the answers and is positively right, none of that fake influencer shit, cass is more like a tender version of someone’s rough around the edges mother and thats the sort of energy that draws specific people to her.

@hammurabicomplex said : 5. Do they prefer movies or TV shows? Why? (louis) Characterization Meme || Accepting!
At the bottom line, Louis has a cynical personality so he feels as though neither tv shows or movies have anything good going on these days. The following are genres he has seen, and grown up with (also they’re described by him) -
White Families in Peril. Caucasian Trouble in Suburbia. Dramatized, Historically Inaccurate Biopics. High School -- REAL & RAW. The Hood -- REAL & RAW. White Womanhood -- REAL & RAW. HILLARIOUS HIJANKS. White Comedy. Some cartoon that kind of looks like Family Guy. Gangsters. Cop Propaganda. Copaganda, if you will. Black-ish + it’s dozen ish spin offs. Batman....BUT NOW HE’S BLACK! (still written by a white guy though.) Superhero Trio.
All of it bores him. Either way, he feels there’s no originality. No creativity. He’ll watch whatever is new and modern. But there’s no guarantee he’ll love it, however Louis does believe that sometimes “you just want to turn your brain off” and watch shit to kill time.

@beenpole said : 17. Do they have cable, or do they rely mostly on Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services? (Ben, I bet he watches tv 🙄🙄) Characterization Meme || Accepting!
Ben’s full name is Benjamin “I’m not getting involved with a cable contract” Rosenthal. In contrast to his mother who spent the 90s and 2000s obsessed with satellite networks, having all the channels possible ( and constantly hoping between QVC and TCM ) Ben doesn’t see the appeal in cable in 2020. 2021. 2019...whatever year my modern ocs are set in. Cause for one, he’s BROKE, two when it comes to tv you’re seeing what the network wants you to see, and three he needs to binge his favorite shows if he’s drawing for comfort.
Ben ( like myself ) went through a period of preferring Hulu when they had a vast amount of older cartoons, which was back in 2017 or so. Then, Hulu started that WATCH WITH LIVE TV shit, he knew he had to move elsewhere. At the moment he’s into HBO Max ( he liked the cartoons on there. ) Paramount+ and Disney+, surprisingly, because he can watch The Simpsons. But all and all, Ben’s the type of guy to sign up for a streaming service for a month then abandon it for a few months. All depends on his paycheck and what has a new season again.
That’s one thing he hates about shows that are exclusive to streaming platforms. You have to wait 900 years before a new season of whatever comes out, and by then you ‘kiiiind of don’t care about the show anymore.’

@tcpimpabutterfly said : 1 & 20 for Cass Characterization Meme || Accepting!
1. What are three Netflix shows that they’ve rated five stars? Orange is The New Black. Though admittedly she fast forwards scenes involving inmates she hates. Hip Hop Evolution. She’s not really a docuseries person, but she thought this was well put-together. Rhythm + Flow. One of few ‘reality shows’ she cares about. 20. Have they ever had an imaginary friend? Nooo. Even as a child Cass thought that was ‘weird’ ( actually she would say stupid ) because you’re just talking to the air. She would also tell some poor child that she was going to slap their imaginary friend and they couldn’t stop her. If one of her kids ever went through a period where they had one - she’s nice, but when talking to fellow adults she’s like: “I just don’t understand it.”

“I don’t know man life just isn’t pizza rolls and Sailor Moon anymore. Shit sucks.”
“You were out here eatin’ Tortino’s Pizza Rolls? By choice? For pleasure?” he’s kind of cackling, “you need to keep that to yourself before you offend the Italian American community. You already done offended me.” He’s shaking his damn head.

+ 📂 for a muse of ur choice
One of the many things Louis does is in his spare time is write lyrics. There was a short period where after graduating college, he was a part of a band called The Disciples of Brooklyn. He played the bass guitar, sung a little, but mostly wrote their songs alongside another member. The band didn’t work out because of creative differences and inner conflict, but his love for songwriting remained. After taking a brief music hiatus, Louis has gone back to making a profit by selling his lyrics ( and overall helping some famous musicians with their music in various areas ) under an alias. Not too many people know this about him, not even his parents.

📂 for shawn!
Back when Shawn was in grade school, he was regarded as one of the best artists of his class. But, all he really did was trace comic book covers/panels on his notebook paper. Alternatively, he would just trace the character’s face or pose before scribbling popular street fashion on them. With that being said, Shawn was great at his coloring technique and when it came to making up random logos, he was skilled at that. In the present, he looks back to these times fondly and if he were to try drawing, his people would look something like this.

📂 for Leah!
When Leah was a kid her favorite genre was sci-fi. She remembers being ten years old, left to her own devices at the public library, and finding a book filled with short stories. Said book was geared towards adults, but it didn’t deter her from picking it up. Generally, Leah could read better than many of her classmates. Quicker, too. The first story in that collection was brutal. Published in the 70s, it depicted humanity being massacred in a robot uprising. After all the bloodshed, the robots would ultimately treat the world much kindly than humans. Young and imaginative ( and mindblown that the story corresponded real, technological advancements of the 60s and 70s ) she couldn’t help but envision this future uprising being a grim prophecy. It also gave her the idea that maybe this would be the best outcome for the earth. Maybe humans aren’t worth investing in. They’re all flawed by nature. She was depressed. She was having nightmares. Ultimately, her mother had to tell her that the story wasn’t real. It’s all made up.

A List of Pets My Muses Have
**Not all of my muses have pets. But, I will be listing the ones that do. Cassandra: Her son, Mario, begged her to get a pet rat after watching Ratatouille. After being convinced that rats weren’t as bad as society made them out to be, she purchased him an all-white rat. His name is Remy Salvatore Scozzari (Mario believed that since his pet was white like his granddad, he had to honor him.) Because Mario’s still quite young, it’s up to Cassandra to make sure Remy is taken care of and consequently he has become Cassandra’s own pet. She adores that rat so much and if something happened to him, she would be devastated.
Bianca: Bianca has always been in love with deer, unfortunately reindeer are not allowed to be pets. Even as a child Bianca felt Italian Greyhounds had deer-like qualities, but her parents already their own family pets ( and Sal always felt Italian Greyhounds had smug auras. ) so she couldn’t get one. But now, as an adult, she has a tan & white colored greyhound named Luca. He’s a year old, and the light of her life. He wears sweaters when going on walks through New York, of course.
Louis: Louis has always loved cats even though he spent his childhood chasing his parent’s cat. He likes that cats, ‘don’t ask for much’ and they’re ‘more or less’ they’re own masters. There are two stray tabby cats that live outside his apartment building that are quite well-acquainted with him. He named them Slick and Sly. He likes to say that they’re brothers since their coats are identical. Leah: Leah grew up around cats as her mother had two of them - they’re okay. Mischievous, but okay. And Ben got bit by a dog, so she’s not super fond of them. What Leah does like is birds. All and all, she feels like they’re underrated pets. She has a cockatiel named Harmony. It seems like the bird is just a ‘decoration’ for her house, but when Leah is prone to letting her play outside her cage. Tony: Tony owns one dog, a Boston Terrier named Rocky. He likely qualifies as a therapy animal ( with Tony having purchased the dog after his rehabilitation ) and hanging out with his dog is the only time he feels genuinely happy. If he’s not making music, or on the road, then Rocky is present at his side.
Sheila: Sheila owns a brown & black streaked Maine Coon named Hamilton. Hammy, for short. He’s not only enormous, but he’s plump like Garfield. She’s had him for a few years now, and she purchased him after interviewing a woman who was selling her deceased husband’s Maine Coons. They’re inseparable now. She can be spotted trying to take the cat on walks, much to Hammy’s disdain. Shawn: Unlike his sister, Shawn is not a cat person. Actually, Shawn is responsible for Sheila’s first pet cat running away, but if you ask him: “the cat wanted to go outside.” A dog person, Shawn owns a Rottweiler named Ozzie and more recently, a grey pitbull named Sheba. Sheba was actually owned by a former neighbor, and was frequently being abused for supposedly biting on furniture and ‘acting too wild,’ so Shawn took her for himself. Cecilia: Use to have a ferret named Slink the Bandit when she was a kid. They were like Lilo and Stitch together. As an adult she has a white/orange/black colored short-haired guinea pig named Wilbur that she more or less regards as her very own child. One day she’ll have a ferret again, but I’d say she’s still heartbroken.
Grigori: Like Sheila, Grigori owns a Maine Coon named Vanya. But unlike Hammy, Vanya has black and white fur. He’s less of Grigori’s cat though - and more of Tatiana’s. She’s always dressing Vanya up, or forcing him to sleep in her bedroom. Grigori just makes sure the feline is feed. ( Though he is a cat person. He once smuggled a cat on campus in the 90s. )
