How to cope with stress
There are different degrees of stress and different causes of stress. The hardest part of stress is coping with it. People have different opinions on taking medication for their own personal beliefs or opinions so taking medication to relieve their stress is not their way to cope. However, it is crucial to cope with your stress positively and effectively before it gets out of control. Here are some tips to cope with the stress provided by the Center for Disease Control:
Take care of yourself.
·       Eat healthy, well-balanced meals
·       Exercise on a regular basis
·       Get plenty of sleep
·       Give yourself a break if you feel stressed out
Talk to others. Share your problems and how you are feeling and coping with a parent, friend, counselor, doctor, or pastor.
Avoid drugs and alcohol. These may seem to help, but they can create additional problems and increase the stress you are already feeling.
Take a break. If news events are causing your stress, take a break from listening or watching the news.
Recognize when you need more help. If problems continue or you are thinking about suicide, talk to a psychologist, social worker, or professional counselor.

Stress
Stress has been an ongoing issue on the rise in America. People of different ages may deal with stress for many reasons. Some of these reasons may vary between schoolwork, everyday jobs, family, and economic status. In 2019, 94% of people reported that they experience stress in their workplace (Stress.org). Stress also has a domino effect, meaning if a person gets stressed out in one aspect of their lives, it would influence another aspect. As stated on Stress.org, 76% of US workers said that the stress they accumulate at their workplace has a direct influence on their personal relationships.

Medications that can be used to treat stress.
According to the article written by MedlinePlus.gov. Feelings of stress are a reaction to things happening in your life, not a mental health problem, so there's no specific medication for stress. However, there are various medications available which can help to reduce or manage some of the signs of stress.
For example, your doctor might offer to prescribe:
 1. Sleeping pills or minor tranquillisers if you're having trouble sleeping.
2. Antidepressants if you're experiencing depression or anxiety.
3. Medication to treat any physical symptoms of stress, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), or high blood pressure.
Ecotherapy
Ecotherapy is a way of improving your wellbeing and self-esteem by spending time in nature. This can include physical exercise in green spaces or taking part in a gardening or conservation project.
Complementary therapies
You may find certain complementary therapies that help people manage feelings of stress. These might include:
1. yoga and meditation
2. acupuncture
3. aromatherapy
4. massage.
