#actually a really funny story about the campaign im playing a bard in-#so me and the other bard both worship hatsune miku so we just kind of decided she was the default bard god#and we are both like. DEVOUT worshippers of Her Highness#so sometimes the dm or another player will say something and i the player will purposely mishear it#and in character will just start shouting a bunch of gibberish and 'HATSUNE MIKU!!!!!!' and the other bard will just kind of solemnly nod#and at one point my charisma game was too strong so she's kind of in love with my character currently#so whenever im doing something i deem 'too strenuous' ill pray to miku and be like#'my darling pookie wookie bear pwetty pwease give me advantage 🥺'#possibly the worst thing about this is the campaign is gonna be really short and it's my dm's first time dming#so this was just for shits and giggles#honestly im fine with that. i dont know what id do if i had to play a full campaign like this

It bothers me how many people are morally incurious, and it bothers me even more how many people seem to think that interrogating morality is proof of immorality- because I'm pretty sure that the latter is at least partly driving the former. Asking why an action or institution is wrong does not necessarily mean that someone thinks that that action or institution is right. If you never ask yourself why something is wrong or right, then what is determining your morality? Because it's not you.

Heres the thing you gotta understand about statistics.
“Increases your chances by 80%” does not mean “there is now an 80% chance”.
If your chances were previously 10%, your chances are now 18%, not 90%.
if your chances were roughly 1%, they’re now just slightly less than 2%.
thats how that works.

i was cuddling with my boyfriend last night when his shoulder started tensing up (like he was readjusting or gently pushing me off) and when i asked him if he was okay or needed me to move or something he went “no you’re fine, i was just imagining myself pulling a large rope. i didn’t even realize my shoulder was doing that lmao” then refused to elaborate and i have never been as attracted to him as i was in that moment.
