Biography: (TW for murder)

Sona was born to parents that gave her up quickly. With no reason, they dropped the infant off at an orphanage in the city. Many couples came in to look at her for adoption, but there was one thing that always had them looking the other way: she never made a sound. She was a very expressive child, something they didn't always like. So she stayed. She taught herself piano, and the caretakers encouraged it. It was a gift. She was a prodigy. More families became interested in her, and even would take her home for foster, but she always ended back up at the orphanage.

One day, a wealthy American came in to see the child that had such a gift. Lestara Buvelle, an engineer from the United States. Widowed and with no child, but with a legacy to pass on and lessons to teach. She adopted the girl and brought her back to Detroit, Michigan, where at the age of 13, Sona had to learn new languages and cultures.

Lestara taught her ASL along with English, finally giving her voice that she never had before. It was amazing. Luxuries and opportunities to show her talent and flourished. At the age of 16, she began songwriting, and it eventually trickled to popular artists.

Sona began to grow popular herself. That struck a sour chord with Lestara. She began to push Sona past her limits again and again and again. It continued on for a year.

One night, after she played for a private party in the home, Lestara began to belittle her once more. Punish her. Keep her trapped in her golden cage. Somewhere along the way, Sona realized that she was done being a songbird. She deserved more.

When Sona blinked the next time, she was covered in blood, with a knife in her hand. She would have screamed if she could have. She wasn't dumb- she knew she had to call the police. Find a way to stage it like Lestara had killed herself. From the pressure of her job, of maintaining such a facade to everyone. It worked.

Sona inherited all money and the house that Lestara owned, and she was finally free to do what she wanted to, even with the guilt of the murder trapped beneath.

She reverted to the sweet songstress that everyone knew.

Modern day, Sona writes songs for popular android groups, and solo artists after the revolution. She plays piano at certain events when invited. Lots of her charity is given to support the arts. She leads a somewhat lonely life; after all, it's rare to find someone willing to learn to communicate with her.
