[The witches had gone and put him in a hard position. Not only had they given him a broken bone for free but he hadn’t even been given a crutch nor a cast even so he had to make both on his own with materials he found around the “house” he was living under since it wouldn’t be the first time.
Now, he found himself with two handmade crutches and a makeshift cast while walking around “Adan” when he remembered the so-called “prophecy” and clicked his tongue. This was only a hindrance but if it would give him back his powers, he’d lick his wounds and comply. To this end, he noticed a certain girl that seemed to be taking notes of something and with a sigh, decided to do what he was prophesied to do.]
What are you doing?
[All he was supposed to do was talk to someone without snapping at them, right? It was easier said than done when it came to the albino but he would make sure to hold back any insults and try to contain any anger that he would normally throw even when it was highly out of character for him to approach someone like this.]

Hmph. For an ex-cold-blooded murderer you sure can‘t break bones. Y’know what? How about I break one for you? ♥ I hope you need the use of your right leg, because for the next three weeks it’s B-R-O-K-E-N! Tee hee~ ♫ - Odelia ★
[The pain of having a broken bone was one that had been foreign to the albino when he was part of the Level 6 project. However, after many things happened, this was a pain he had felt before but on different body parts and even then, it was hard to bear. Once the pain and his screams were over, he only could feel rage.]
I WILL GET YOU BACK FOR THIS YOU HEAR ME! I WILL BREAK EVERY BONE IN YOUR BODY WITHOUT KILLING YOU!

[The boy had been holding back so hard on not harming the girl with her calling him a cow and she even went and flicked his forehead so he couldn’t help but feel his limit breaking up.]
Listen here brat, I don’t care whose mom did you got lost from but I’ve been living in this sorry excuse for a home for a while already and let me warn you one more thing...
[Since the annoying girl had stood up herself, he did the same to look straight at her in the eye.]
I will rip your tongue out with my bare hands.
[There was a deep madness in Accelerator that he always kept in check but when his patience was tested, it always managed to find it’s way out. This time, even though he was saying this, the girl didn’t need to know but he couldn’t bring himself to actually harm children but scaring them so much that they’d think twice about messing up with him was a completely different story.]
driven.
«🌟» “.. Oh. I knew something was off. Nobody would’ve purchased a statue that looked like a cow! Heheh. Moo,” Nowi retorted, giggling at her own joke. Ha. Cows. White and black. Funny. Stretching, Nowi scooted even closer to the male, finally in range to touch him. Flicking his forehead, the Manakete let out a devious giggle and quickly moved back to her original spot.
“So I’m stuck with a cow? What’re you even doing here? Did you not see ‘Property of Nowi’? It’s obviously like riiiiiiiiiight there.
Kinda.”
She pointed at the front door, letting out a tsk as she stood up and placed her hands on her boyish hips. “Some people just don’t know how to read! Gosh, you are te-rri-bleeeeee.”

[Accelerator felt as in a vein in his head was about to pop because he couldn’t believe this girl was really that dense.]
What mighty one!? And who are you calling a thing?! Are you that short-sighted that you can’t realize you’re right next to another living being huh?!
[Even if he had his powers, he wouldn’t harm a little girl just out of anger but he really missed his powers right now because they would allow him to enclosure himself into a silent void where he didn’t have to deal with annoying situations just like right now.]
driven.
«🌟» “E-Eh..? Did something just talk?” Peeking out from behind her makeshift curtain, Nowi looked around curiously. Then turning her gaze towards the white haired male, her lavender eyes widened. She whipped her head back, her hair following behind, and quickly changed positions so that her face was smack in front of his.
“Did.. this thing just move..?” No, it couldn’t have.. Perhaps she was just exhausted. That had to be it.
“Just in case you were wondering, oh mighty one that spoke from the Heavens, I am quite comfortable right here.”

[The albino merely kept quite as he gazed at the “girl” make herself at home and even insult him and for a moment, he felt his rage started swelling up but managed to hold back from immediately yelling back since he couldn’t help but be softer on kids than he was on adults. With a slow deep breath, he calmed down and then started talking.]
Oi, you comfortable there?
[His words carried such obvious sarcasm in his tone but he usually forgot that sarcasm doesn’t always work with children and for some reason he still ended up using it with a certain troublemaker that lived with him back at the place he could call home.]
driven.
«🌟» “Uguuu! I’m hoooooome!”
Nowi stretched and popped her fingers, looking around the hut curiously. She overlooked the male, who, she thought was just a piece of weird furniture, and began to make herself at home. Taking off her shoes and placing them next to the door, the manakete casually plopped down next to him and peered into his eyes, leaning forward and cocking her head to the right.
“.. Why does it look so… Ugly?” Nowi asked out loud to herself, shaking her head. Who would choose this as a piece of furniture? It’s not even a good looking statue. Eh, she’ll just get rid of it later. It didn’t occur to her that that ‘furniture’ she had just insulted had feelings and was an actual living being. Making herself comfortable, Nowi stretched once more and let her hair fall in front of her face, acting as a curtain from the outside world.
Time for a nap.

[The crimson-eyed albino had done nothing but exploring the whole place during his time around so today he had decided to just take a break and relax at the place he was given to live in. So far it seemed he was the only living in the place but he suspected that the place wasn’t meant for just one person to live in since there were many other empty rooms. Still, since the hut was available all to himself, he didn’t find a reason to just stay in his room and thus had decided to merely stay on the couch on the living room. The day had been peaceful enough as it was until he heard someone opening the door to the place. It was now that he wished his powers were intact because he could just have his reflection on at all times to be able to rest without caring about what happened around him.
What he saw when the door was opened made him grimace.]
A brat?
[He was merely 16 years old but in his eyes, the girl that opened the door looked to be around 10 years old and his initial assumption was that she had gotten lost and randomly got into this place.]
driven.
«🌟» Huffing, the Manakete kicked a stray rock into oblivion, clenching her Imperial cape with her fists. Nowi? Being some silly, silly plaything for a bunch of witches? Impossible! .. Though, it felt all too real to be a bad joke someone was playing on her. .. Was she even in Ylisse anymore? Last thing she remembered was some weird old hags women telling her some pretty weird information. Of course, Nowi was one to over exaggerate, which in this situation, could quite possibly lead her to a series of unfortunate events.
Plopping herself down against a tree, the female removed one of her gloves and stared at her hand, examining it carefully. This was her reality, wasn’t it? There was no escaping it now. She was in some strange place called Ilaefaci, and although she found it lovely, something about it terrified her. She was never one to appreciate being alone, and it was likely that she didn’t know any of the inhabitants here. She was a friendly person, of course, but the thought of doing that put her in a bad spot. With a sigh, the maiden pulled her glove back on and looked towards the sky. She had to start somewhere, so she may as well find the ‘hut’ she was assigned. Or! Or, she could also find some of those creatures.. She had to get this over with as soon as possible…
Nowi couldn’t find the heart to.
“.. Time to go,” she spoke out loud to herself. Fixing her hair tie, Nowi embarked on her quest to find.. .. What was it? Was it Adan, Hut 3? That sounded silly, but it was all she had to go off on. This was her time to shine and prove that she was capable of anything.
And off she went.

[Even among Espers, there was no such power as modifying fate itself so he still had trouble believing it. For the time being he decided he would believe it and act accordingly. After all, all of these events were pretty unreasonable already so what else could the boy do? What else was left than to accept all these unreasonable things and not allow himself to be crushed by them?]
Ok, I have my doubts but I’ll believe it for now. I’ll agree to be your “supplier” for now but if I get my powers back and you turn out to be a phony, I’ll make sure you pay me back, is that okay with you? Vampire?
[It still felt weird calling the girl in front of him a vampire but he decided he’ll get used to it sooner or later. Still, he didn’t even know her name and even though he could go by just calling her vampire, it would be a hassle to not know how to differentiate one vampire from another if there turned out to be more than one in this place.]
So, before I let you fetch a drink, tell me your name at least.
Of course, she had no idea what his abilities entails. Whether or not he really did have the powers to defeat an army of vampires was also unknown. But if he was really feeling that confident in it, all she could assume was he may have some solar magic. But that was just an assumption, nothing more.

“Were you not listening to what I was telling you before? In simplest terms, I’m a farseer. A farseer who can manipulate the futures she sees to her own liking. The power to quite literally manipulate fate. Can you see a benefit you have in that, or do you require an example? You should be smart enough to figure it out.”
There it was, the ability she was hinting to revealed. To the vampire, it didn’t matter who knew. If anything she would only benefit from it. An ultimate ability with no weakness. Direct opposition would easily be snuffed out. No one can outrun their fate. Combined with her legendary weapon, escape was not an option.

[Vampires were beings from fiction in Accelerator’s world but then again, he was currently had his brain healed from irreparable damage, was on a completely different world, and already knew that magic existed even in his world so accepting the possibility of vampires existing was slightly easier than he thought.]
Let’s say I accept the fact that you’re a vampire, what would I gain from letting you drink blood from me? I’ve only seen vampires in fiction in my world and none of them have anything that could be of use to me. If anything, once I get back my powers I could easily crush a whole army of vampires on my own.
[At this point, Accelerator was basically trying to find out what sorts of powers did this girl had that could be of use to him because as far as he knew, vampires could easily overpower humans but not so easily most espers in Academy City with a level 4 and above, probably even some level 3s if their powers were good against vampires and this meant he had really nothing to gain from allowing himself to feed a vampire with his own blood.]
Now the conversation was turning to where she wanted it. On to the topic of how she will sustain herself in this world. Brute force was out of the question with her abilities removed. Nor would it win anyone to her side. It would have to be a bit of give and take. Until resources were in her favor.
“That should go without saying. If you haven’t caught on yet, I’m a vampire. We require blood to stay alive. Human blood to be specific, no other would do. You should count yourself fortunate because I have a light appetite. That’s why I said I only need a little bit to get by.”
Intentionally wording it in a way to not ask specifically for his blood. Really any human’s blood would be enough to get by, with B-type being the most desirable. It was more or less a morality check. Will he fill in the blank and offer his own blood. Or would be take it from someone else as an offering. It was completely pointless trial but a fun little trial nonetheless.
“Honestly, you would be an idiot to not pass up a deal like this. Your really only gaining in this situation.”

[Accelerator could not understand what this girl was talking about. No matter how he tried to look at it, it sounded like words from someone who had really lost their mind already.]
Like I said, I don’t care about being a pawn as long as I reach my own objectives. I don’t know what sort of powers you have but I was already able to choose my own fate back in my world with my own power so whatever you’re selling, I don’t care for it.
[Of course the feat of being able to change his own fate was not something he managed to do with his power alone. He ended up relying in someone else but this girl didn’t need to know that. However, he was a very sharp guy and quickly realized that at least for now, this girl was the one who had something she needed unlike him so maybe he could turn the tables.]
If anything, it sounds to me like it’s you who needs something from me so what’s this... “sacrifice” you’re talking about?
“As they fixed your damaged brain, they have removed the sun from my presence. But you’ve only traded one master for another. Your still a pawn in the end. I can already see that won’t change without some outside interference. A chance for you to decide your own fate.”
Of course she was completely lying. Her ability to manipulate fate was stripped for the time being. How novices managed to do that is unknown to her. But foreseeing the future was the vampire’s specialty. Without it, who knew if she or her sister could have ever survived the trials they endured in Europe. Or evade the wrath of the Church? How else could they twist their fate to their benefit?
“I can provide you that opportunity. I’ll be honest, I’ll only use you until my ends are met. After that, you will be free to act on your own. All I’ll require will be small sacrifices every so often. Something so miniscule that any human can offer it.”

[If it had been a normal person, probably the presence of the “little girl” might’ve seemed even something to be feared since it was clear that the airs of superiority coming from her weren’t those of some brat who just had some big ego but it was also something that only people that also lived veiled in darkness could understand.]
I don’t know your circumstances but let me enlighten you a bit. Those witches did a favor to me by fixing my damaged brain. Once I get my powers back, I won’t be anyone’s plaything so I don’t care if I have to play the errand dog until then. I’ll use them as much as they use me!
[The boy was also a monster in human form and he had somehow managed to make his life change from one shrouded in darkness to one with a certain degree of humanity thanks to a bunch of people who didn’t leave him alone. He had no idea if he could go back yet or not, but he would find out after he got his powers back one way or another.]
“Really? I thought being ripped from our homes to serve as pawns for some good for nothing witches would be at least a mild inconvenience?”
Of course, it really depended on who you were. For some, a place like this could be an escape. But was living as some plaything really any freedom? Only to be cast away once you’ve become boring. The circumstances of this man’s situation didn’t matter. Only his blood did.

“I suppose if you don’t find any of this to be a problem. Then perhaps you also don’t wish to improve your life here? I was going to offer you a way out, but perhaps a boon to your luck would suit you more?”

[Witchcraft. It was a concept that Accelerator wouldn’t have believed if he hadn’t seen firsthand the world of magic back in his own world. Not only that but the fact that his brain seemed to have been restored and he was now able to walk and think without help from the Misaka network, it was obvious this was not something possible with the science from Academy City. Not only that but these “witches” were also capable of taking his powers away so he was an average human instead of the strongest Esper feared by many. Using one of the so-called teleporters, he found himself in a place called “Ea” and started roaming aimlessly, just getting to know the layout of the place when a girl addressed him. The albino’s face lazily turned towards the origin of the voice and looked a pair of wings that seemed too well-made to be cosplay. He turned around completely as if on guard and replied with a bored tone.]
Huh? I really doubt we have the same problem.
Witches taking her captive? Forced to play to appease their boredom? What a joke. Youkai of a lesser echelon should know better then play games on those much more powerful then they are. If it wasn’t for the fact that she herself was getting bored in Gensokyo she wouldn’t have played their game. But for now, she would.
Finding a human would take a high priority. If she couldn’t feed chances of her surviving this would be slim to none. Leaving the building she found herself in. Looking to the sky to see a stone ceiling. Protecting the vampire from the sun indefinitely? An unwise move on the witches’ part. Scanning the area and approaching the first person she could see. Making no attempt to hide the leathery wings protruding from her back.

“Finding yourself far from home? It would seem that we both find ourselves with the same problem.”

[It was obvious that the girl felt nothing but contempt for him and he was alright with that since he deserved it and she was the first person in the world who had the right to do so. If it had been someone else, he'd probably be really pissed but since it was the original Misaka, he could not back talk but merely groan as he scratched his head. That applied only when she chastised him but when it came to understanding his ability, he felt he needed to enlighten her a bit more into it.]
For the record, my ability is vector control. Which means I can calculate something like electromagnetic signals inside a computer and then change the flow of electricity into pulses I want. It's an easy task to calculate those and then convert them into signals I want so I can literally rewrite programs as well as you can if not better since I'm not limited by electric signals.
[Although she wasn't completely right in her statement, he didn't attempt to correct her since he had saved the remaining Misaka Network a few times already from the darkness of Academy City but that didn't make even the fact that he had murdered the Sisters that formed half of that network in the past.
Once again, she asked something that was hard to answer so instead of explaining in detail about stuff that he had no answer to, he decided to let her have the general idea.]
We cant. The guys running this place were very thorough. Disregarding that weird electric fence around all over the place, they also have a kind of force field all around the place that nullifies any kind of power. If you've been to the juvenile hall at Academy City, you've probably seen the AIM Jammer that they have in there. Well, this force field is like a perfected version of those jammers so if you try to force your way through, you'll have your brain fried out before you make it to the other side.
"Don’t take me for a fool just because you’re stronger than me. That’s probably a lot of your problem and why shit happens around you so much," Misaka spat in reply.
"I know you’re not stupid and your powers are flexible. I just assumed they were too strong to deal with the likes of electronic networks."
She let out a long, deep sigh that sounded as though she was both trying to calm herself down and trying to let things go. Involuntary shivers ran down her spine as unpleasant memories of the first time she’d met this pale boy intruded. With a shake of her head, she replaced the memories with more pleasant ones. Suddenly, she chuckled and smiled.
"You’re right. I am a lot like those girls. They’re my sisters, after all. That’s why I wanted to save them. I can’t believe you didn’t save them…”
There you go, Accelerator. This was the closest you’ll get her admitting you weren’t completely to blame for the awful experiment.
"But I suppose that is not the issue here. How the hell do we get out?"

[The boy's crimson eyes met with the girl's eyes and his anger seemed to start fading slightly until the girl started talking. Then, from pure anger, his reaction seemed to be one of resignation.]
Just my luck. I got stuck with a complete klutz.
[And he voiced his complaint openly. It was now clear that she was going to be a handful to take care of if he wanted to remain in one piece himself. The boy wasn't one to remember names of people that he didn't care about but seeing how he was stuck with her against his own will, he would need to memorize it quickly and make sure that this girl stayed safe, for his own sake.]
Feel free to call me Accelerator. And for the record, we might be "partners" but that doesn't mean we're friends, got it?

[The guy's attitude changed abruptly as he saw Accelerator's power first-hand or at least that seemed to be the case. If that was indeed the case, his display hadn't been in vain since it was done as a means of deterring others into fighting him or touching those close to him. However, that didn't mean he couldn't use some information.]
Weeks? I don't think this whole thing is supposed to last that long.
[By himself, he'd probably be able to make do, but if he had to take care of both Last Order and that careless girl who was his partner, things could be harder than he initially thought. Accelerator planned on having a little Q&A session with this guy but it seemed that would have to wait since one of the creatures that lurked this forest had just been drawn to the noise he had made as it was pointed out by the guy who was just silently walking away.]
Hey, you! I've got some questions for you so just wait around there. I'll deal with this nuisance first.

[Accelerator wanted to get done with this unwanted visitor so he could start getting some answers from the fellow white-haired boy so he turned towards the source of the incoming noise.]
Hell's wrath [Open]
╳ || The strange stranger’s powers are truly formidable, and Haise has to thank some sort of deity because the kid’s on a mission to protect rather than fight. For a few moments, he simply stares at the rubble, stunned by the sheer force of the impact. After taking in the scene, he turns back to the kid with a strange expression of nervousness and thankfulness.
"A-ah, you might have a point there, but still. I think this sort of situation is more of a test of endurance than anything," he says with a small nervous chuckle. "I mean, if you keep using your power needlessly, what’ll happen in a few weeks? B-but this is just the ramblings of an adult; feel free to carry on with your day! I’m sure those people you mentioned before are in good hands with you!"
With that, he tries to abscond. If he gets on the bad side of the other, there’s no telling what kind of trouble he would be in. Plus, he barely hears the faint footsteps of one of those beasts, most likely alerted to their location by the previous attack. “By the way, you should get moving if you want to find them.”
