random things i want to exist in Minecraft
More mobs that are biome-specific.
More mobs with a similar mechanic to silverfish in that they “infest” blocks (in this case maybe grass, dirt, or leaf blocks).
Really just more mobs in general. I like...aninmal.
Pink sand and pink sandstone—some beaches or islands have pink sand.
Blue nether bricks. Maybe could turn the blue warped wart blocks into them? please help I have so many
Variations on the swamp biome. Also reeds and cattails. It would be cool to have a “saltmarsh” type variation with tons of reeds (and maybe flamingoes?) where swamps border oceans, since that transition is always weird looking, but also be cool to have a wooded swamp. Also I want to have thatch roofs that look nice pls
improvements to/variations on dungeons!! It’s just a Stupid Room. Maybe a bigger version? Dungeons with more than one level connected by stairs? Dungeons with smaller connected rooms? Secret trap doors? Variety please
An overall update to the railroads, so powered rails have some use (they’re significantly slower than fast horses.)
Variety to the mineshafts. Mountaintop variations on mineshafts. Rare big corridors or deep vertical shafts.
At least one more biome with gigantic trees please. In particular I’m thinking of a giant dark forest biome. Trees on a similar scale as the giant tree taiga, except tightly packed enough to create a perpetual twilight underneath. I just really, really want giant-er trees and I want a forest that will scare me.
putting four of a tree together to grow Big Tree should work with all the trees, you can’t change my mind
Weirder variants on deserts with bizarre desert-adapted plants like Joshua trees or something. Deserts that are rocky (smooth sandstone?) instead of sandy, since most real life deserts are that way.
On that note, we don’t really have a “scrubland/arid land with shrubs” type of biome, except for badlands. I kind of want something in between deserts, badlands, and savanna to make the arid biomes feel more complete (and also another place to find red sand,,,)
thorny brambles that spread similar to vines. There aren’t enough options for thorny hedges.
Palm trees—would not be actually trees, more like large plants that grow in stages. Found next to oceans. I can see them dropping palm leaves that you could put on your roof. Would also drop coconuts probably. Or bananas. Oak trees already drop apples, we can afford to fudge a little bit.
Giant clams and/or regular clams and pearls
Stripping birch trees should drop birch bark, which can be crafted into paper

A group of horseshoe crabs, with some variations. I also made two animations for the model: - First animation a simple walking motion. While it wouldn’t be that much visible, I still wanted to try recreating the kind of movement they do underwater.
- And second animation with the horseshoe crab flipping itself over to get back on its legs. I’m very happy with it, as a first version of it was less organic and a bit more rigid.

Theory Time
The reason endermen don’t like it when you look at them is because they communicate telepathically with one another by locking eyes! Humans are absolutely not designed to do this so when we look at them we are accidentally projecting all of our thoughts into them at the same time and it hurts :(

Malicious Magical Devices
All hacks use and require magic to be made and to work, although most utilize mechanical devices as a vessel for the magic to work. Many people wonder where the magic is coming from, as no one but the Admins and the Owner have the ability to use or give out magical abilities. Though anyone in the right circles will know that the magic is stolen, and distributed illegally. How people obtained it is still unknown, and never talked about by any parties involved.
These are just some of the most popular hacks. There are probably 100′s of different hacks that have been created; it wouldn’t be reasonable to list them all.
Bhop - ankle braces worn on each leg. They enhance the users movement and physical abilities.
Reach - a small metal ring that goes around the blade of your sword and sits just above the crossguard. It’s very hard to see, and creates an invisible extension of the sword blade that can be adjusted in length by twisting the ring.
KillAura - an arm brace that starts just above the wrist and ends about halfway up your upper arm. You wear it on your dominant arm/the one you hold your sword with only, and it will basically aim and swing for you. However, it’s very taxing on your body if used for long periods of time/very frequently.
Speed - can be most small objects. The user has to keep it on their person, and it grants extra speed. The amount of speed that the item gives is dependent on the amount of magic the object has. Most people who use these will most likely own multiple objects for speed.
Fly - a pair of bracelets, with one worn on each wrist. They allow the user to fly as if in creative, even without the /fly command, or when they are in a restricted-fly area. However, it is much harder for the user to control their movement and speed than if they had legitimate /fly permissions.
NoFall - can be most small objects or trinkets. The user must keep it on their person for it to work. This will make you take no damage when falling from any height.
Tracers - basically just a small clear contact lens that projects the tracers across your vision. they are thin colored lines that stem from the middle of your vision and connect to any nearby players within a certain radius, which can be customized.
Xray - same deal as tracers. You can have both but they gotta go in different eyes bc how would that work otherwise lmao. (they’re toggleable just like normal hacks, you just kinda close ur eyes for a few secs and tell em to turn off)
Jesus - can be most small objects or trinkets. Having it in their possession will allow the user to walk on water.
AntiKB - prevents you from being knocked backwards or off balance by attacks. Can be most small objects or trinkets that the user must keep on their person.

REPORTERS WITHOUT BORDERS OPENS "THE UNCENSORED LIBRARY" IN MINECRAFT, FEATURING BOOKS/ARTICLES CENSORED IN CERTAIN COUNTRIES
youtube
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) opens “The Uncensored Library” – Within a computer game. In many countries, free information is hard to access. Blogs, newspapers and websites are censored but Minecraft is still accessible. RSF used this backdoor to build “The Uncensored Library". A library filled with books, containing articles that were censored in their country of origin. These articles are now available again for young people around the world – hidden from government surveillance technology inside a computer game. Support our fight and share this film! #TruthFindsAWay

not to be fake deep about Minecraft on main but. anyone else ever get the feeling that Minecraft is a post-post-apocalyptic sort of world that, with each update, is starting to heal? we start with skeletons and zombies and giant spiders and weird mutated things, but life slowly returns - scary things live in the ocean, yes, but coral reefs came back, diverse fish populations returned, there are dolphins and squids and stuff. in 1.16 the nether goes from a blighted hellscape to still terrifying, but a place that can sustain life. there's new types of trees, animals, flowers, bees were added. basically the Minecraft game universe feels like a place that, with each update, is healing from something terrible, and that's just neat

Good idea for a mod, because then people can choose whether or not to use it.
would be neat if fuel types in minecraft had more attributes such as burning temperature, volatility, and emissions output in addition to burn duration and each attribute affected something. better fuels for different uses. also emeralds/diamonds should be rough when first mined until taken to a stonecutter.
