HIATUS

((I haven’t solidly been on here for ages, so I’m officially calling a hiatus. Will last until I get any semblance of muse back for the muses on this blog. I’m currently more active on my Wentworth multimuse, so if we’re mutuals on here, feel free to hit me up for the url. I want that blog to be fairly low maintenance and I don’t want to feel obligated to rp with every single person on there because that’s what led to the downfall of this blog. I will only give you my Wentworth blog if I genuinely think our characters will work well (or badly! Love a good enemy ship) together.

But yeah! I love you all and I hope to be back here at some point!))

tone indicators!!!!

a tone indicator is a little addition to the end of a sentence, post, etc. that confirms the tone you typed it in! it’s REALLY helpful for neurodivergent people like me because in my own personal experience it’s hard for me to tell what people are exactly trying to say sometimes, especially over text. the main tone indicators i see people use are:

/j (joke)

/hj (half joking)

/lh (lighthearted)

/s (sarcasm)

/g or /gen (genuine)

/p (platonic)

/srs (serious)

/lyr (lyrics)

/c (copypasta)

/q (quote)

here are some examples:

Alex was sat on one of the church pews, eyes red and moist. They weren’t entirely sure whether they should believe it or not. This was Sara Lance they were talking about. She always came back. Part of them was just waiting for it to happen, but they couldn’t help the way utter grief consumed them.

They briefly looked over to the woman who sat beside them, nodding in greeting before looking away. After a moment, their face scrunched up. Was that..? They looked back up to try to confirm their suspicions. They hadn’t ever seen Nyssa al Ghul before, but the woman beside them matched the description fairly well.

“Nyssa?” they asked, head tilting.

She made her way towards the gathering of others clad in black, taking a seat next to someone who looked to have about as little inclination to talk to others as Nyssa herself did.

Alex reached out, feeling blindly for a steady body to hold onto and grimacing as their head pounded painfully. They blinked wildly, trying and failing to gain back their vision. “Shit,” they breathed, feeling the gentle movement of air against their face, but not seeing anything.

They kept themself calm despite the panic that rushed through them. “I can’t see anything,” they stated matter-of-factly after taking a breath.
