Found this majestic but highly venomous Mozambican Spitting Cobra next our pool the one evening. It was hunting Rock Hyraxes but was disturbed by my presence and flared its famous hood. Quite a tense standoff. Shot on a Nikon D3100

Tried my hand at taking a pic of the stage at a “Cigarettes After Sex” concert. Was super happy with the way the iPhone 15 performed. Just some light editing with the native iOS Photos app.

Remember that everyone has one of these, it’s fragile, needs to be cared for and probably needs love in return. Look after all the hearts in your life.

Beaches always provide cool subjects to shoot, this may be a little macabre but it’s interesting. Shot on a morning walk on the beach.

The summer rains bring out some interesting critters, this Brownlipped Agate Snail is the largest of all African Land Snails can grow to 16cm in length. They are true herbivores even though urban legend claims they eat other snails. This guy was massive.

I absolutely love fit strong women. This study of my very good friend in a private photography studio after a body building comp. The amount of discipline, determination and dedication is unbelievable. Taken with a Nikon D7100.

Tiger Anemone, Nemanthus annamensis, can make for great subjects. Managed to snap this pic on a dive on Mzimayi Wall in crazy current.

These African Pied Wagtail chicks were found in one of our hanging pot plants. I love the way animals can adapt to urban environments and nature dishes up these little surprises.

Scorpions in South Africa get quite big, this Tree Creeper was really old and on its last legs! Made for a cool macro topic. Nightmare material though.

Blue Bottles or Portuguese Man ‘O Wars are totally reliant on the wind for propulsion as the balloon acts as a sail. After periods of sustained wind, one will normally find beaches covered by them. It uses its tentacles to catch prey by employing a very powerful sting, this sting is quite painful to humans.

Throwback to a few years ago. Shot this Paper-fish on the T-Barge Wreck off Durban with an old Canon G12 and a Sea & Sea YS-27DX strobe. Loved the contrast of the Paperfish against the sponge and the dark background.

I love stormy ocean scapes. They evoke such drama! This was taken on an early morning stroll along the beach in Uvongo, South Africa, after a particularly bad storm. #iphone15pro

Calm sea and stormy sky, Wakatobi is a truly special place, diving here was surreal, but the above surface vistas were just as breathtaking.

A traditional Indonesian house against a backdrop of karst cliffs, green jungles whilst nestling in a rice paddy in the greater Rammang Rammang region. These people literally work the land they own, so humbling.
