Finally finished my religion notes!!
I could’ve been done with it in 2 days but nope, took me 4. But hey, at least it’s done now. And somehow the critical reading I did today was quite good? Definitely made up for the amount of bible pages I had to read over the past week lol Taking the afternoon off to meet a friend, tomorrow I’ll finally get back to studying calculus :) (just don’t question what happened to that sticky note lmao)

03.05.25 || today I decided to stay at home instead of going to the library. I’ve been reading about Middle Ages all day and I love it.

19.05.25 🍓 ☕ 📚 somehow this semester is not stressful enough to complain about but just stressful enough to feel tired all the time, so i let myself be peer-pressured into drinking coffee for the first time :') bitter af

I’m still slogging through a rough mental health patch, but the last of the more intimidating exams, electrodynamics, is tomorrow so I’m doing my best to finish preparing today and hopefully things will get easier after that.

I very much agree with these suggestions. Forcing myself to write was the way I could finally start to become an active rather than a passive user of the target language.

07/05 - Had to take a new route to my class, got lost, discovered at least three new murals and somehow ended up wandering hopelessly in the very pretty campus of a university I do not attend. Oops. Honestly, factor in the bubble tea, and not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
Next exam: History - 09/05
Revised social and political impact of WW1
French grammar practice
History past paper questions
⏱️: approx 5hrs
🎧: laissez-moi danser - pomme

1 hour Minoan Crete revision

I didn’t get as much done as I wanted to as I ended up going on a long walk with my family. I go back to uni in a couple of days, but until then, here as some old pictures. I still have so much to do to prepare to go back!

lunlun remembers she’s a studyblr —here are some pics from the last few months. i finished my german course and completed b2 level. i still need to work a lot on my vocabulary and speaking skills. it was fun though, i had a very good teacher and i loved doing all my assignments: i even gave a presentation about my favorite fictional characters! but i’m a bit tired from constantly studying and working at the same time, so i’ll take a small break from studying because i can’t quit work —yet 😳.

.
This will sound so cliché but last week was so stressful, first week of class literally killed me and work has been awful too. Hoping this next week is a little bit easier. Also next month is going to be crazier, I have my brother’s birthday, my mom’s visiting us, and I have exams wich I NEED to promote. I’m really looking forward for autumn to arrive, this heat wave it’s insufferable and I really hate summer fits.
Anyways, I hope you have a happy sunday!

This is what my life looks like right now. Online lectures I’m not really listening to and forcing myself to be creative so my brain doesn’t collapse from stress.
I’m going to try and post every so often, just so that I have something to keep me sane. I’ve also decided to take an economics a-level over the next couple of years so that I can have a second one. I hope that this doesn’t fall through and I can get it. I’m in uni but I’d still like to have more than on a-level.
Who knows what’s going to happen over the next few months. But I do know I’ll need to keep learning once the school year is over.
I wish you all luck!

how I stay productive & motivated during university
Location stacking: intentionally planning activities around where they are in order to reduce travel time
Create a productive and clean/non-distractive environment: applies to digital and physical spaces
Second-brain (principle): reduce mental load/memory by noting down tasks, deadlines, plans, notes/ideas, etc.
Understand your productive time: morning vs night vs afternoon vs a mix – try it out
Hobbies & exercise: for balance, enjoyment, & different brain stimulation
Sleep: have a solid sleep rhythm and enough sleep
Planning study days in advance (discipline principle): reduces mental efforts & you can get started right away
Focus on the joy and gratitude for being able to study: avoid feeling guilty, pressured or stressed
Take meaningful breaks: Go for a walk, stretch, quick yoga, make a drink, stare outside, stand in the sun, etc.
Accept that your energy is not the same every day: do your best every day & be proud of showing up
