if beale street could talk by james baldwin is a beautiful, heartbreaking book that talks about the injustices black people faced and are still facing in the usa. anything baldwin writes is immediately a fave and I’m excited to read more by him.

My German classes restart next week and so I am doing some work on parts of the textbooks I wasn't present for previously. I'm feeling better, and have been enjoying the sunsets and trying some embroidery! Today I went for a walk to start building back up from being attached to the sofa.

it seems I only post at the end of each block but I KILLED my endocrine/reproduction final and I’m still really excited about it :)

we started psychiatry this week, and I’m freaking out a bit because it’s my last block of pre-clinicals. It’s so difficult to believe I’ve made it this far!

i’m on a research elective for two whole months and decided to spend it at home. it’s been nice since it’s a lighter workload and i can spend time with family and enjoy the abundance of local coffee shops while also juggling interviews & socials! definitely having interview fatigue but also super grateful for each and every interview invite i get
